Hey guy's Grann here. Now I know some of you are looking forward to the next chapter of my story and are wondering where the hell is it. First of all, it has been a bit busy since I started school. I'm in an electric maintenance and automation program, where I hope to be a dam operator or oil rig electrician and make some money. In addition, I just started work again and I also need to get my hands on this writing speech program that will make typing out my story easier.
But the thing is, I have been thinking about this for awhile, and since some of our new writers in the POME universe are going to remake their stories for the sake of trying to tell a better and more focused story. So I figured that now was the time that now was the time I announce that I plan on remaking my story as well. Now before some of you guy's panic and accuse me of being off my med's let me explain. When I first started writing this story, it had it's fair share of problems, but that is to be expected since this is the first story I wrote in about 6 or 7 year's since I left High School and it's the first story that I wanted to write for the sake of writing especially after reading BlueSun's SOMH and seeing Zero and Punk join in the group, writing about meeting Twilight and Applejack respectively. So, after seeing what Sun had done with Sonata in his story, seeing those two join the group, and feeling inspired after spending much of my day's pushing carts at my old job with Safeway, I wanted to write the story about Sonata before anyone else could. Most of my first chapter's were spur of the moment and people like Bre and Robot were quick to give me the opinion that the grammar was awful, which it was and probably still is. So I ended up re-writing the first several chapters 3 times, and I never really was satisfied with them. What's more speaking honestly, I felt like I was ripping off SOMH with some of the early story structure. I am however proud to say that chapter I wrote about the crystal heart heist was my best chapter yet, and since, and hearing the praise was an awesome feeling that I cannot describe. But it has been hard to bottle that lightning again. I also feel that I could have done a better job with what I call the weekend arc where Sonata spends the weekend with Warhawk.
Since my last chapter, I have just been thinking about my earlier attempts and how I can make the story better with a much more solid opening, and perhaps better planning, in addition to representing the O.C.'s in a better way. I just can't get the ideas out of my head.
So I don't know when I'm going to start, and I don't know what's going to happen. But before any of that, I just wan't to express how grateful I am to the people that did like my story and felt inspired by it. When I started this, I hopped that people would like my story, but the response from you guys blew my away. Reading comments about how people like my O.C. because they can relate to him, and just enjoying themselves and hell, inspiring other's to make their own stories? I can't even begin to explain how awesome that is. Snow Bullet want's to make picture's based on the group and offered to do a commission for me free of charge since it was Valentine's day, how awesome is that? And the group, my god the group. I've never been apart of anything like this, and just the since of community and that we're here for each other, I can't do that justice. And it's because of this, that I want to make a better story because you guys deserve it.
So to close this long winded blog, thank you to everyone that has supported my story, thank's for letting me a be a part of this brotherhood, and thank you all for letting me express my creativity.

I felt the same way when Warhawk joined in, I was like "I MUST JOIN THIS CULT". And then Treble was born. Hell, it was pretty awesome when you put Treble in your story, and it was perfect.

Firstly, I'm happy that you mentioned me, and I"m still pretty glad you liked my piece that much.

That said, I completely understand your reasons that you feel the need to remake the story. It is a challenge to write a story after being away from writing for so long. Believe me, I know from writing my own fimfiction story that I haven't even posted because I wanted to wait until after I made the whole thing. It's sadly not going to happen, seeing as I lost influence and so I'm just going to fix the chapters I have and then write how the story is going to continue and that will be it, but I do know how hard it is just to get it off the ground. Bottom line, I get why you feel the need to do this, and I look forward to what you come up with, with making a better story for us.
