I want to be a lion, everybody wants to pass as cats. We all want to be big big stars, but we got different reasons for that...

Just a little quickie update. Still writing semi-regularly, Merc and I have crested the 100k word mark on 1199.

    So, we're only half-way there.

Been a few months, ladies and gentlemen. Been doing hella writing, though, on account of co-writing a grand adventure/romance story with my very, very good friend Merc the Jerk. Collectively, he and I have written... oh... roundabout 45k words on the thing since January timeframe.

Writing chapter dos of Last Love. It’s... coming along. I mean, it’s like 6500 words long, so far, with a tentative projection of it being like 15k words long by the time I’m done with it. Cause apparently I write long as fuck chapters now.

    So it’s definitely “coming along”.

I wane and wax in my creativity and in my desire to write. But I write nevertheless. I've read some books lately, full of healthy tips and tricks and whatnot. One of the ones is "to get excited about the scene you're writing".

    Huh.

Things I'm Losing Sleep Over [February] · 8:36am Feb 20th, 2016

This will be my "Monthly Update" blog, to be put out every month, naturally. :ajsmug:

You can skip it if you want, but if something interests you in this list, this is where I'll give info and progress updates on it.

Published Stories:
Suffocation***-- Reeling, depressed, and lamenting over the fact that her dreams were not what she wanted anymore, Rainbow moves to Manehattan with Rarity. [SoL] [Romance] [Word count: 50k]

Writing chapter two, finally. But overall have no structure or clue how this story will progress. It may very well die in the foyer.

Lithification**--Like the process that forms the strongest rocks, the Pie sisters spill blood, and tears. They make friends, and enemies. They find love, and hardships. All in the name of growing up. [Romance] [SoL] [Dark] [Word count: 100k-150k]

Pulling out my hair over the convoluted plot. This is going to be a tough, slow one.

Paradise*-- This is the story of two mares, during one summer, finding paradise in each other. [Romance] [Sad] [Tragedy] [Word count: 100k-ish]

Sleepy writes ApplePie! Let's see... chapter 8 is written, chapters 7, 9, and 10 are planned but not written. This is the one I'm probably the most attached to, and have the clearest picture of in my head, so it'll be finished first.

Unpublished Stories:
To Know Best****--Twilight passes on knowledge to the next generation. [SoL] [OneShot] [Word count: 5k]

Just an idea, with a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad draft that will have to be sacrificed and then risen from the dead

In Between Days***-- Pinkie and the Mane Six travel to her hometown when tragedy strikes. [SoL] [Sad] [Word count: no clue.]

One of my very first ideas for a story. I don't even know how I'm going to be able to pull it off since I can't write a lot of the Mane Six, and especially not Pinkie.

Unravel**-- Hmmm. How to explain this... [SoL] [Romance] [Dark] [Sad] [Word count: could be anywhere from 100k-200k]

Part of my head cannon, It is, for all intents and purposes, an epic. I'm talking hard-core romance, war, slavery, PTSD, hopelessness, triumph, tragedy.

Masquerade****-- there's a rebellion, and, a bunch of stuff happens, and everypony dies. But not Pinkie, 'cause, she's perfect. [SoL] [Romance] [Tragedy] Word count: 100k-150k]

Another epic, written in the style of Alexandre Dumas! Or... as close as I can get it without alienating my readers and have them yell at me for showing and not telling. One must understand that back in the 1800s, books were made up almost entirely of telling.

* Working on this first and foremost
**Working on this when I'm not working on the first and foremost
***Working on this... not very often, but still working and/or thinking about it.
****It's in the back of my mind.
