Dear Followers,

Hi everyone. It has been a while since we chatted last. Almost a month, right? I’m writing this as a letter to inform you on what has been going on with me. Since my temporary ban on Fimfiction, I have been struggling to overcome my Internet addiction disorder. In all honesty, I really care about this problem that defines me, and I am working my darn hardest to overcome it. But I’m going to be blunt.

I’m losing.

There’s something about it that makes me want to drive towards the goal though: being free from the restrains that tempt me. You know those constraints: mindlessly browsing YouTube, or taking a slight break to let your mind wander for a while on a game that you know you will spend more time than just “a slight break”. That’s my problem. So what is the solution now?

I have it. I am going to be weaning off my amount of YouTube usage. I will mostly be using that site for school related items such as lesson plans or projects, and I will only be using my laptop for that. Other than that, YouTube is not going to be allowed anymore until this addiction is over. If it takes a year, two years, or five years even, I don’t care. I want to be better, and if that means sacrificing something like that, then I will.

Also, I will be limiting my usage of majority of my Steam games. I will strictly be playing one game on the weekends. It’ll most likely be Osu, so RIP my Steam games.

That is the solution. Of course, this may ruin my whole desire to even do gaming again in the future, but for now, I have to do this. Yet again, the sacrifice will reward me later on (I hope).

Before I transition into the next bit, this paragraph specifically was written today (2/13/2016). So let’s talk. I actually have a chance to fix my sleeping pattern considering I slept a total of thirteen hours on Friday. I slept right through dinner. Jesus. So here’s to me going to bed at a decent time. I’m taking it asap. :D Now back to the rest of the blog.

So this will make me focus on my writing. I’m happy for that. It’ll also allow me to focus on my college career, which is even better.

I think I’m going in the right direction and I’m glad that you all are supporting me in my quest to change.

There’s also some other changes that I have made. For starters, and possibly big news, there is no more beef between me and LightningSword. You all remember the beef, but the clouds and dust have settled, so that’s good.

I really don’t like dust.

Before I end this blog on a happy note, I’d like to mention two other writing updates:

I am almost done with an update for A Slave’s Freedom. I’m still unsure about the ending of the chapter, and plus, I want to write another chapter to give you all a treat for waiting so patiently. So yeah, we’ll see what happens there.
I am currently in the process of writing a new story that will not be posted till the months of May or June. I haven’t decided yet. I may livestream this story being written, so if you are curious as to what the story is about, just know this: It’s about Celestia being a novelist. I will have more information for you all as the story writing progresses.

So I hope you’re happy for the future.

Now let’s end this blog with something fun. I will be making this a series on my blogs, where it ends not with me saying “goodbye”, but with me making fun of the feature box. Why is that? Well, the feature box is a fantastic thing, but it sometimes doesn’t get the full title of the story since it’s only limited to a certain amount of space, so unless you click on a story, chances are you might not have the full title. Other times, you just see the title and think, “Wow this reminds me of something I’ve watched [read, wrote, etc.]!”

A Mother’s Love is not something you should be tempting with. Never make your mother angry, that’s just asking to open up one hell of a can of worms.

Mother Adagio, who is not like Mother Theresa, drops her son off to school in hopes that someday, he will not only avoid the mistakes she made, but live a happier, more pleasant life that is not constantly bombarded by tacos and loving angst.

Sunny’s Days is not a reference to the drink, Sunny D. Do not mistake a pony for a drink with a straw that could poke somebody’s eye out, kid.
