If you don't mind me asking, why is "Lesson Zero" #1?
3750121 Because there are so many things it did right. Most importantly, it corrected what could've been a fatal flaw to the show, Twilight Sparkle being the only one capable of delivering the friendship report a.k.a moral.
Both of us have Lesson Zero and A Canterlot Wedding as our #1 and #2 (I combine two parters into one in my lists).
We also both have Sisterhooves Social at 5
The biggest difference between our rankings is that I have Mysterious Mare Do Well at 6.
Why A Friend in Deed is in 17th?
Lesson zero is a favorite of mine.
3750541 Because Pinkie Pie's flaws are exaggerated to an uncomfortable extent, and in real life such stalkerish behavior would likely get you thrown in jail or the victim of a restraining order. They also missed a chance to show that sometimes you can try your hardest and still not be able to make someone your friend. "Maud Pie" was "A Friend in Deed" done better.
