SuperPinkBrony12

I'm a brony and a Pinkie Pie fan but I like all of the mane six, as well as Spike. I hope to provide some entertaining and interesting fanfics for the Brony community.

Episode Re-Review: Fake It 'Til You Make It

Oh joy, it's back to Season 8. Season 9 has its fair share of detractors, but hardly anyone I know ever sings Season 8's praises, and for good reason. We now know that the School of Friendship was added at Hasbro's request because they wanted the show to wrap up with nine seasons, forcing the writers to change their plans for the pillars. About the only good thing to come out of Season 8 seems to

Special Re-Review: Equestria Girls: Forgotten Friendship

While we now know that this has to take place not just before Season 8 but before the events of the 2017 FiM movie, it first premiered in February of 2018, about a month before Season 8 of FiM hit the airwaves. Interestingly, the Discovery Family broadcast omitted several scenes that were later released as part of an "extended" version. As for the writer, it was none other than Nick Confalone,

    Episode Re-Review: Uncommon Bond

After the absolute disaster that was "Secrets and Pies", Season 7 really needed something to redeem it and give it the chance to go out on a high note, especially now that the big 2017 movie had come and gone, and the show's future was still uncertain. Josh Haber, after having returned to the story editor's chair and ultimately taking back the reigns fully from Joanna Lewis and Kristine Songco

    Happy Birthday, Kathleen Barr

Today is Kathleen Barr's birthday. She is the talented woman who voiced Trixie and Queen Chrysalis in FiM, as well a host of other one-off or otherwise minor roles. And, apparently, she was planned to be the voice of Princess Celestia originally.

Happy Birthday Tara Strong · 5:06pm Feb 12th, 2016

Today is Tara Strong's birthday, she is the talented woman who voices Twilight Sparkle. And as I mentioned last year, she originally auditioned for the role of Pinkie Pie (intending to voice her in a manner similar to that of Bubbles from "The Powerpuff Girls").

What you may not know, is that she was born as Tara Charendoff. She married Craig Strong in 2000, and currently has 2 children in this marriage.

Also, although she is known for many roles, Tara was not the original voice of Bubbles or Timmy Turner. For the "What A Cartoon" shorts that led to the creation of "The Powerpuff Girls" Bubbles was voiced by Katherine Soucie (who you may remember as the voice of Phil and Lil from "Rugrats") and in the "Fairly Odd Parents" shorts which aired on Nick in the late 90's, Timmy Turner was voiced by the late Mary Kay Bergman. Sadly, Mary comitted suicide on November 11, 1999, and while Tara's fellow California based voice actor Grey Delisle (also known as Grey Griffin) succeeded Mary in the role of Daphnie, Tara succeeded Mary in the role of Timmy Turner.

In addition to Twilight Sparkle, Timmy Turner, and Bubbles, Tara Strong has also voiced Dil Pickles from "Rugrats", Batgirl a.k.a Barbra Gordon in "The New Batman Adventures"/"Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker" (in a flashback)/"Batman: Mystery of The Batwoman"/"DC Super Friends"/and "Beware The Batman" (only Barbra Gordon), Raven from "Teen Titans" (and "Teen Titans Go"), Harley Quinn for "Batman Arkham City"/"Arkham Origins"/"Arkham Knight"/as well as "Injustice: Gods Among Us", Melody in "The Little Mermaid 2: Return to The Sea", Mary Jane in "Ultimate Spiderman", and Princess Clara from "Drawn Together", among her other roles. She even voiced Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash in a "MAD" parody sketch (in another parody sketch Katherine Soucie voiced Rainbow Dash).

Happy birthday to you, Tara Strong, I look forward to what you will bring to the table for Season 6 and the upcoming FiM movie.

3749939 Yeah, just what I was thinking.

3749942

(In the Batman: TAS episodes that Barbara Gordon/Batgirl appeared in, she was voiced by Melissa Gilbert)

Gilbert is probably best known for her association with Little House on the Prairie (NBC; 1974-83)
