The Nightmare Initiative, Deadlines, and Other Notes · 12:37am Feb 6th, 2016
So, first off, I'm terrible at keeping schedules that I set. Its my fault. I'll work on it more, I promise. Blogs will get on a weekly schedule... soon... ish.
Secondly, you may or may not have noticed, but I changed Fallout: Equestria- The Nightmare Initiative to "On Hiatus". I don't like where the story is headed. It feels too similar to other recent sidefics in the universe involving synths. I'm planning a complete overhaul of the story. The prequel and chapter 1 will remain largely unchanged, but everything else will be altered drastically. I want my sidefic to feel different, and right now its missing something.
To accomplish this, I'm taking out the weapon crafting components I was going to do. Originally I was also planning to do without skills at all, but I've decided that this story needs it. The protagonist has a certain set of skills that just flows better if I keep track of skill points.
On another note, "By My Own Beard!" is still being actively worked on. I'm just knocking out a few kinks with the main story before posting a chunk of chapters. Keep an eye out for them!
