Sites Where You Can Post Your Writing · 6:37pm Feb 3rd, 2016

Sites Where You Can Post Your Writing

There are many sites on the internet where you can post your writing besides just FanFiction.Net and the various Wiki pages. Here is a list of some of the writing sites that I have found to work the best for me.

1. FanFiction.Net: This is one of the first sites that came out that allowed people to upload their fan fictions for other site members to read. It's upload system is a little outdated but once you get used to it, you will find a large audience of readers for your work.

2. FictionPress.Com: This is kind of a sister (or bother) site to FanFiction.Net. It was one of the first sites where people could upload and copyright their original fiction pieces. It's upload system is also a bit outdated, but you can find a wide audience for your stories here.

3. FimFiction.Net: A site where you can upload pony fan fictions, join groups to interact with other fans of the show, make journal entries, and participate in live chat. I don't have to say much about this site since pretty much anyone reading this is on the site right now.

4. Trollpasta Wiki: A place where people who enjoy trollpastas can read them and post their own work as well. The story posting format is a little hard to get used to, if you are not used to posting things on an article site. But once you get used to the format, it is not so bad.

5. Creepypasta Wiki: A place where people who enjoy creepypastas can read them and post their own work as well. The story posting format is a little hard to get used to, if you are not used to posting things on an article site. But once you get used to the format, it is not so bad.

6. Not Your Average Creepypastas Wiki: Another wiki site where people who enjoy creepypastas can read them and post their own work as well. Again, the story posting format is a little hard to get used to, if you are not used to posting things on an article site. But once you get used to the format, it is not so bad. One advantage this has over the other creepypasa wiki pages is that the posting guidelines are not as strict and the community is very laid-back. I am also an admin of this wiki.

7. The Library: A Wiki page where people can read original fiction and poetry pieces as well as post their own. Again, the story posting format is a little hard to get used to, if you are not used to posting things on an article site. But once you get used to he format, it is not so bad.

8. Inkitt: A place where you can post fan fiction, original poetry, original fiction, and even non-fiction pieces. You can join groups and enter your stories into the endless slew of contests the site is always hosting. It is one of my personal favorite writing sites.

9. Wattpad: Aplace similar to Inkitt where you can post fan fiction, original poetry, original fan fiction, and even non-fiction pieces. Wattpad also hosts a good amount of contests. It is another one of my personal favorite writing sites.

10. Post Your Heart: This is my personal site where you can post any writing, art, music, video, game, or other creative thing you want on the appropriate boards. You can post original poetry, original fiction, original non-fiction, and original fan fiction. Feel free to post as much as you want in any genre. No limits to posting. The only rule is to have a good time.

11. Quotev: A site where you can upload stories, quizzes, tests, and surveys. It is nice because there is no submission process to upload stories and no minimum word count. It is also a good resource where you can find and make quizzes, tests, and surveys; something a lot of other writing sites don't offer.

12. FictionPad: A site where you can post fan fictions, original writing pieces, and join groups. It has a simpler design than some of the other sites. It is very easy to use and navigate.

13. Amino App: The amino app communities have just about the same level of community and opportunity to share your work as most of the other writing and art sites on the internet. There is a fan fiction, music, YouTube, art, craft, and like million other amino communities. And you get follows really fast on the amino app. I was only on the MLP amino for one day and I got 15 follows. It's worth checking out.

14. Writing.Com: A site where you can post original fiction, poetry, and other writing pieces in a sort of online gallery. It also has a lot of contests that you can enter as well as opportunities to publish your work.

3730961 I have an emulator for most game systems on my computer. :P

I was very tempted to post my stories on Post Your Heart but...

I didn't start writing on this site for popularity. I started to write because maybe, just maybe my stories could touch someone's heart.

Although I'm sure I could quite possibly move some more people on these sites, I just don't have the reason to.

3731008 I'd love to have you on my Post Your Heart site. ;) But it is up to you. This is a good site as well.

3731012 I just don't feel comfortable going onto all different kinds of sites for just one thing, you know?

3731032 Yeah, it can be hard to keep up with. :P I have writing samples on most of of these sites except for Wattpad which I still need to put writing samples up on.

U forgot my domain: quotev.com

3732282 quotev.com I like it bc the story can suck it can be great but it'll still go up plus there's no minimum word count

3732390 Oh cool. Thank you for letting me know. I will add it to the list.
