Another Rainboom Thieves update · 3:51am Jan 29th, 2016
It finally happened...
For the past almost 4 months, and I mean 4 MONTHS, I have been trying to write the next chapter of The Rainboom Thieves. I had 'The Contest Part 3' done back at the beginning of last October but...I felt I wrote Spitfire wrong. (Turns out I didn't but that doesn't matter.) I had also lost my muse for the story and...other things about the story.
So...
The next arc is called 'The Debate' (Originally called The Nightmare and the Guard) and it's only 2 chapters long. It's first chapter however...I've spent the past almost 4 months trying to write, which is ironic since when I started this story, I would crank out 2 or 3 chapters a night sometimes.
Anyways...
I finally think I've got what I wanted for the chapter. Hopefully I can get it out early February. It only took a good...I don't know, 10+ rewrites. Ugh...It's been rewritten so much because I felt I kept getting Twilight and Celestia wrong. And I know people don't like them in this story despite Twilight is the main character in this story. That and the version of Twilight that's in this story (Who has a totally different backstory) is a bratty, paranoid, cocky little mare. Unfortunately for my fans, I love writing this character probably more than any character in any of my stories. Oh well...
Anyways, hopefully I can get it out soon. I think if I can get this chapter out...I should be able to get my groove back.
