I wish I could say that I have a good reason for leaving this site out of the blue. Or for leaving you guys with no explanation. Or for leaving Doing Science. But I really don't. I'm sorry, everyone - this will be my final blog post for what we can assume will be quite a while, if not forever.
I think that the simplest way that I can describe it is that I have moved on. Or rather, I moved on about a year and a half ago. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic no longer held my interest, and as I moved away from the fandom, I moved away from the site and all of the people within it. I stopped watching the show. I stopped writing and, eventually, reading fanfiction. That being said, I still care about the people I've met and the work that I've done, so I've come back to clarify the situation for those who are still around.
Doing Science won't be finished by me. If I'm not passionate about something or if I don't at least care somewhat about it, the writing won't be good. I'm sorry for lying to you all in the last update on Doing Science...Unfortunately, I have to put it to rest. If anyone out there wants to continue it, they can be my guest. If anyone out there wants to know how the unwritten portion of the story would have played out or how I planned to end it all, they can PM me. I'll stick around for a little while to answer any questions that may arise.
There was one more "secret project" that I'd been working on - the finale of the To the Moon series. The third installment is titled "To the Moon and Back Again," and my original plan was to finish the entire fanfiction before posting it. Me and my beloved editor, Gilimmar, worked very hard on 12 chapters, completing 11. I'm going to upload those finished chapters all tonight. I want you all to see the last and "latest" of my writing, although the last time I worked on it was in May, 2014. As with Doing Science, message me if you want to know how the story ends or if you want to continue it.
I want you to know that, despite leaving the site, I haven't left writing. I write poetry almost every week and even began my own short story a month or two back. It's still an integral part of my life, so rest assured that, at the very least, I'm not leaving it behind.
I'm going to college later this year. Wish me luck.
In 18 days, I will be 18. Wish me luck with that, too.

I know I've left…but looking back at all of the stories I've written, the stories I've read, and the many, many friends that I've made…I have to say that I don't regret one minute that I spent on FimFiction.net.
I want to thank you all one last time. Every last one of you has helped me in a way that I can't even describe. I feel truly blessed.

Aw geez. I'm sorry to hear that you are leaving, but if that is what is best for you, then so be it.
I've started the Austraeoh series this year, and I have to say, that I have loved reading your evaluations. It simply won't be the same without them.
I know that you probably don't even know who I am, but believe me when I say that myself and many others will miss you very much.

And hey, I don't know where you are in the series, but I think that they only start to taper off somewhere in the fourth story. So you might not be able to worry about that for a little while.
(And I'll do my best with that adult thing)
