2/16/2019, No New Fic This Week

You know what the big problem with having something done way before the due date is? Having all that extra time before the next due date rolls around to waste time doing whatever whimsical bullshit tickles your fancy. This week, it was less procrastination and more a combination of writer's block, indecision, and my work situation. See, I'm getting ready to change jobs, and this

Why do I always add the date to the title? To be honest, even I'm not sure anymore. I think it's a holdover from before Fimfiction's blogs had the dates. Either way, more stuff after the break!

    1/20/2019, Wild BLUNDY Appears!

A posted story? Another one finished and waiting to be released? Rewatching the entire series? What is this, 2012?

Nah, it's just a sign of the apocalypse. Beware, readers, for Blundy has officially returned from the dead. Raaaawr.

No big promises this time. No idiotic pledges to write at least 1k a day. I'd like to, but I'm just gonna lean back and put it on cruise control. I want to write again, but I'm going ease back into it, rather than sprinting right out of the gate like I used to try to do.

    7/21/17, Not Dead (Yet!)

I don't really like making excuses, so I'm just going to come out and say it: Between INJUSTICE 2, Until Dawn and working seven days a week, I haven't really done much (read: anything) in the way of writing since my ol' buddy ol' pall Timaeus challenged me to write a TaviScratch one-shot which I promptly started and then stopped working on

12/29/2015, Who Is Blundy? · 8:19pm Dec 29th, 2015

Oooookay, I guess I owe a bit of an explanation.

See, I am a lazy cunt. I've been busy on my new ambulance shift, and--well, that's not entirely true. I only work three days a week now, so I can't really put all the blame on being tired from working two twelve hour shifts and a sixteen hour one. I guess I am just a lazy cunt.

Anyway, I've resolved to retrain myself in writing a decent amount every month. I'm going to be keeping a daily spreadsheet with a goal of 45,000 words per month. That's 1,500 words per day. Yes, I know NaNoWriMo is only 40,000 and most people don't even succeed at that, but that's the point. I must unlearn what I have learned.

Does this mean that I'm back? Yes. It does.

Does this mean more pony from Blundy? Yes. It does.

Does this mean more TwiDash from Blundy? Yes. It does.

Does this mean that Elements of Chaos will finally be finished this year? Yes. It does.

Does the mean that the sequel to Trust will finally be written this year? Yes. It does.

Does this mean that Blundy will stop using parallel structure to illustrate his points? No. It doesn't.

See you guys next year. I've already got a (late) Christmas special halfway done, another fic partially outlined, and plans for how to fix/rewrite Elements of Chaos.

This year, The Blunderbolt Awakens.

Cheers!

Whooooooooooo!

Welcome back at long last. Although 45K a month would kill me.....

This is great news, Blundy! I know we recently really got into texting a lot more, so we're finally back in communication regardless, but I am SO HAPPY to hear that you're back! The year where every day I got to come home from work to find you and Timaeus chatting it up like scoundrels in our Skype chat... Oh, that was so much fun. I really miss those days, honestly.

This makes me happy :D

Just don't overexert yourself, wouldn't want another extended hiatus would we?
