Happy Hearth's Warming!

And a Merry Wookiee Life Day!

Thank you to all my readers, new and old. It has been another wonderful year writing for all of you. I know I didn't finish more chapters than I should have. I really don't have any good excuses, but I am eternally grateful that all of you took the time to read them and give them nice comments. Sadly, the next SCS chapter might not be out until next year, but I have everything blocked out and will have plenty of time to write after Christmas.

Sorta like the Pie Family, you'll have to hunt for your gift this year. Spoiler: it is right below this paragraph. Spoiler: it is set AFTER the end of SCS, like last year's story gift, so there are spoilers to SCS inside. It is set a few years before last year's story too. Give it a read if you don't mind spoilers.

        Razzly smiles into her camera. “Happy Hearth's Warming from RazzlyVlogs! If you were in Ponyville last night, you probably saw me as Clover the Clever in our Hearth's Warming pageant. Naturally, Starlight played Princess Platinum.”
         Satsuma enters with Iyokan on his back. The baby is dressed like a reindeer. “Razzly, I'm having trouble getting Iyokan in his outfit. He keeps removing one of the antlers.”
         “Oh, he's just being fussy. Let me see him.” Razzly levitates her son from her husband’s back. She fits the costume on snugly. “There. That's better.” She levitates Iyokan to the camera. “Say ‘Happy Hearth's Warming’, Iyokan.”
         “Habo hafs wubble.”

         Twilight's castle. Fillies and colts gallop all about, lead by Starlight Sparkle. Presea catches her sister so they can greet their Aunt Maud. Razzly points her camera at the babies around her as she watches them.
         “I'll take over,” somepony says.
         Razzly looks over. Del sets her children down. Lollipop crawls around. Her cousins back away slightly, scared of the changeling. They are calmed when Pax catches her sister in a hug. Del pulls him off her and licks his head.
         Razzly laughs and rejoins the party. She raises her camera to avoid hitting her brother-in-law as he gallops through again, chased by his sons and oldest daughter and a small, pinkish changeling. There is a crash as something hits the camera.
         Dashing Drake catches the camera before it hits the ground. “Sorry about that.” He gives the camera back to Razzly and flies up to Usagi, who is rubbing her head. “You should be more careful.”
         “Yes, Uncle Dashing,” Usagi groans.
         “You only call me that ironically.”
         Usagi giggles and flies after her other uncle again. Dashing chases after her. A purple kirin runs past.
         “Dashing! I found the mistletoe!” Gem calls.
         Razzly laughs and heads towards the main hall. Alba holds the main entrance open for her family.
         “Welcome to Ponyville,” Razzly greets.
         “Hey, Razzly!” Alba replies.
         Dusk sits behind his mother, reading a book. Shady carries a bundle of presents for his nieces and nephews. Technis helps relieve some of the load by adding them to the stack he's levitating. A light yellow streak topped by sunshine zips past the adults.
         “Grandpa! Presents! Grandpa! Presents! Grandpa! Presents!” Dawn can be heard shouting as she tears through the castle.
         Dusk calmly trots after his cousin.
         “Dawn, slow down!” Sunset Shimmer reminds her daughter.
         “Hmpf,” Helios snorts, escorting his family in. “She needs better manners.”
         Circe watches her cousin skid past, almost hitting a display as she hunts for her grandfather. “Presents…” she sighs.
         Helios grunts and looks down at his daughter. “You got all you need already.”
         “I know… Thank you for the magic flash cards, daddy…”
         Helios trots away. “Come along. Let's find my father. We have to show him how Erebus’ composition is coming along.”
         Helios’ family follows after him. Only Erebus looks enthused to be there. Razzly slips Circe a cookie as they pass.

         Everypony sits at a grand table loaded with food. Rei, Del, Usagi, and Lollipop look ready to devour everything. Dashing keeps looking over at Rarity's family, as Gem tries flirting with the colt and Spike stares him down. Daring Do seems unaware of her son's apprehension. The Pie family all snickers at the faces Sunny makes as Rainbow tries coddling her daughter. All four of Starlight's kid and their father catch their breath after exhausting themselves. Apple Bloom pours her husband a cup of cider from the bottle Applejack brought her. Dawn lays on Dusk's shoulders and reads his book with him. Circe keeps trying to look at her cousins, but Helios taps her and points her forward. The doors at the head of the table open. Everypony stands as Twilight and James Sparkle enter.
         “I'd like to say a few words,” Twilight says, “but I'm hungry! Let's eat!”
         Everypony cheers and digs in.

         Back home. Razzly brushes hermane out before bed. “And that is how I spent my holiday. I hope yours was equally exciting. From my family to yours, we love you and thanks for watching. RazzlyVlogs, out.”
