But DAMN there's gonna be a lot of Rapidfire soon. Flashbacks? Lots of action scenes? We find out his reasons for wanting to keep living instead of dying and avoiding Soarin at all costs?
I'm assuming there's gonna be a lot of flashbacks for this dude - come on, different goggles, what appears to be the Wonderbolt combat training guards, a yellow pony beside him (I think he might be going against Spitfire of Misty... Probably Spitfire, but hey, it could be another pony we don't even know about
)..... I'm getting a SERIOUS flashback vibe right now. 
The yellow has to be Dash. She said that her hoof was yellow, so?
I'm suspecting that Blazetail and Flashwind are going to be meeting up with him soon, that just seems like the kind of reaction he may have from that interaction.
I'm guessing flashbacks galore in the upcoming chapter. Maybe freshman psych class will finally come in useful after all these years!
