    Story: The Engineer’s Wings.

So here is it, the quick little story that turned out to not be so quick or little. Funny how one’s anticipation of how long a story will be can be so off the mark.

    Story: The Cruelty of Kindness

So funny story. After finishing with The Paladin of Prismatic Light I thought to myself, 'I should write a short story to take a break from super time consuming ones like that. I know I'll write one of my alternate universe stories with a fairly short bullet point list of main events.'

Episode: Parental Guidance random thoughts and observations.

First off I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the episode was actually just as much of a Scootaloo episode as anything else. Always a plus in my book to see more Scoot and Dash interaction. And being the Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash fan that I am I wanted to share a few observations from the episode to anyone who cares to read the thoughts of some random author on Fimfiction.

Story: The Paladin of Prismatic Light

Well, it was meant to be long, not two-thirds the length of my actual book long, but that’s how it turned out.

Story: This seems Like a Bad Idea & Newbie Dash comentary

Like I said in the story's comments, this is the first time I've written a story as a direct response to an episode of the show. Sure single episodes have inspired stories before but I've never gone out of my way to fully script them, let alone write them out, before the next episode even airs or even usually before the session it was in had been fully seen.

Prompt Story #1 · 5:51pm Dec 5th, 2015

okay so 'A day in the life of a wartime explosives expert' represents a few firsts for me.

First of all I've never stopped writing one story to write another before, and this one, I did that twice over. Yeah I two other stories partly written as of the posting of this one. so that's new.

Next up I've never written a story from true first person perspective before. Even if I usually have the camera follow one character most of the story, I've never done the narration with the I's and me's before.

Finally as this is the first time I've ever bothered writing a story from a prompt before, let alone published one by a deadline. If you couldn't tell This one is for Equestra Daily's Writer's Training Grounds event. so first time participating in one of those too.

Anyway, all I really did was to take Light Seeker from 'When the Sky Isn’t High Enough' and asked myself what he would be doing in the crystal empire war timeline? And here you have it. hope someone out there finds it enjoyable.

Until next time, have fun out there.
