Whither went Scifi Pony? · 11:16pm Nov 23rd, 2015
Strangely silent, eerily so.
Nothing traumatic. Mostly, not inspired by the EqD WTG prompts for the Hooffields and McColts and What About Discord, not to mention that they showed up in the same post with the same deadline. I may get to them, eventually, but for now I've skipped them.
Largely, the enigmatic response I got to Fluttershy Monster in Me has left me wanting to finish up what was really the first fifth of the story. Indeed, what I wrote was the story's hook, in TV parlance. I've been struggling with what would be named Fluttershy Monster in Her as it could easily contain a herd of characters, all with conflicting agendas. Also, can I tell this story in first person? Do I need to have multiple first person sections for each character? Do I go back to third person, what I wrote in for thirty some years? In any case, I intend to write it so it can be read separately without ever reading the original story.
In the final analysis, it needs to be a parable about kindness despite the putative dark theme behind the original story. Making it so is taking time. If it comes together, I will write it.
