I've been trying to post Unto a Star (latest WiP) for the last two days, this being the third night I'm at it. I'm hoping by posting this, I might jinx it and have my story accepted into the post queue, right after this blog post goes live.

But I've been having doubts. What if the reason that my story hasn't been posted because the mods are debating on rejecting it. The thought of that annoys me. Because if they were going to reject it, just let me know. Let's get it over with. I will delete that baby and move on. Here I am, waiting in suspense. Wondering, where did I screw up? Was the chapter too long? Was I too vague in places? Was there not enough pony content?

I've a couple of eyes look over it. They pretty much said the chapter was alright and that I should work on the ending. Ehh, I had my reason for why the ending was why it was. Pacing concerns and to not mention, it's a romance. There's no instant-love to go along with the showroom floor of sex, prose, sex, prose.

And I don't exactly believe in good people have good sex. Other fics of mine, sure, but not this one.

The first chapter, the characters being introduced and scenario brought into play, haven't earned that climax yet. I might be wrong and I'll hear about it in the comments (supposing that it gets posted today). But that's okay. It's my first time writing a actual romance where I have to set-up the relationship. Luckily, I can cheat by adding lots and lots of fore-play.

*sigh*

I've glanced over to the other tab. No story. If I do log off and come back to see the red glow over the messaging box, "Glitter Grenade, your story has failed moderation," I'll groan and regret spending so long a single fic. Even now, I feel the anticipation weigh on my nerves.

Will it get in? Will it not?

I can't take it any more.

I'm going to write a smutty, one-shot spin-off to Unto a Star.
