NaNo Week Two Progress

You find a holotape on the ground, next a discarded keyboard. It's battered and weather-worn, but it somehow still works...

*click* "Day fourteen. Things are... looking good, actually. I'm lagging behind a little, but when I do find time to sit down and write, I'm getting a lot done. *sigh* Certain things have got me distracted though. This Wasteland's a huge place, and there's so much to see. It's easy to get lost in it. I just hope I can stay focused long enough to get the job done, before-- Well, it's best not to think about it. I should go catch up with the others." *click*

Well, two weeks down and I'm up to 20,000 / 50,000 words, which is only about 3,300 behind target. Considering that Fallout 4 came out the other day and completely derailed my normal routine (can you tell?), it's going rather well! Seriously, that game will eat my life - it's unputdownable. Luckily, my family are all into it as well, so they're fighting over it as we speak, meaning I get a free minute to catch up with writing.

I'm still not sure exactly where the story is going, but it's been interesting to write so far and I'm starting to get a decent idea. I've found a cover image which goes beautifully with my working title, and that's strangely inspired me to finish so I can publish it here. Between that and an awesome pep talk email from my local Municipal Leader, I'm confident that I'll get done on time
