Me again!

Hey everypony! Once again, I've been quiet for ages without much word, for a plethora of reasons that have nothing to do with pony (LINK to other blog)

Where's all the pony? I sadly haven't had the drive for ponyfic lately, and I've been writing other things. I'm still watching the show (I loved the finale! TRIXIEEE! ) and loving it, but haven't done much with the fandom/Fimfiction other than that recently. I've still yet to see the new EQG film. I'm not avoiding it, I just haven't gotten around to it (as with a lot of things).

I wanted to get to UK Ponycon though! Sadly, I did not get organised in time (tickets sold out months ago, and I'm still not organised) so I'm having to watch from the other side of the internet. Next year is a 'hopefully', again depending on where it's based and how I'm doing work-wise. More pony stuff needs to happen for me – I need more excuses to wear a tail and a Rainbow Dash hoodie!

...Okay, that's a lie – I don't need an excuse

So, yes... Aside from occasionally checking for new messages, I've been totally inactive on this site. Sorry about that! But I really don't have anything to add at the moment, and I haven't been reading all that much, either.

What am I writing? Right now, it's urban fantasy all the way! 'Planning' for my National Novel Writing Month entry is underway. Those who know my writing process will know that 'planning' involves throwing characters at a page and hoping they make a story that I can write about I can't plot to save my life! Come November, I hope to have a starting point at the very most, so I can go from there and see what happens. Fingers crossed!

I also finished my first erotica piece the other day – that's a thing now, apparently Another thing that I never pictured myself doing until very recently! It was fun to write, even if I wasn't hugely confident with the finished piece to begin with. But after I asked my bad influence to read it through and give me some feedback (which included red cheeks and laughter in equal parts), I'm very happy with it. There's definitely gonna be more where that came from!

So, I am still writing and loving it. Just sadly not much pony at the moment.

Stories here on Fimfic? At this point, I honestly doubt I'm going to finish the two stories I've got on hiatus here. Second Sunset is almost definitely gonna get marked cancelled. A Slice of Flutterdash is not going to end up nearly as long as I was hoping... but since it's already so close, Season 2 may get finished. Just as soon as I feel up to writing the last bits I need to accomplish that.

Sorry to anyone who's waiting on more from those stories The inspiration for them is just not there right now. If I do start writing ponyfic again, you'll be the first to know (because there will a post here with lots of excited capital letters!)

Lots of other bits and pieces going on of course, but I won't go into them all here. If, for some strange reason, you wanna hear about Applequest or my misadventures in our awesome Dresden Files RPG campaign, by all means ask away - as always, I'm on email and very active on Twitter

Well, glad to see you're still out there. Sorry that your inspiration is lacking, but at least you haven't given up on 'ASOFD'. Hopefully, the seventh season will give us more FlutterDash moments that will reignite your creativity. I just know that when Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash end up going on a cutie map mission together, it'll be chalk full of the shippy goodness that FlutterDash shippers thrive on. Maybe it'll even top 'Trade Ya!'.
