I just found out about this today.
There is a MLP game in development called "Ambient"!
This is the first half of the prologue, currently in alpha stage.
The voice acting isn't the best, but it could be a lot worse! Plus, it is only in the alpha stage, so I'm hoping they revisit the dialogue.
What is it about?
It is an action-adventure game about two immortal royal sisters with powers to move sun and moon to provide day and night to their land. The project consists of 8 episodes and prologue level that is in developing right now. Every episode you will experience is the story of two royal sisters - Astrum and Krinita, and yes, you will experience stories from two different points of view - Astrum's and Krinita's. Every story is going to be deep, exiting and tragic or fun in its own way.
Now with help of some bronies I am developing a prologue level of the game - the story in youth of two sisters, that is mysterious, strange and important moment in their life.
I did some more reading and found this:
- for now its a PC and Mac Os game, but with really good support from patreons it could become also an ps4, xbox one game, ps3 and xbox 360 game and maybe even ios and android game.
If that comes to pass, I think I may die of happiness!

Yeah...Dude you're awesome but this is getting a cease a desist. It happened with fighting is magic and it happened to jananimations so it's more than likely going to happen to this game.
My opinion on what I saw however is very good. Voice acting could be improved but it's not the worst I've seen and animations seem pretty good. One thing that annoyed me throughout is the words for the spells; I don't know why it irritates me. That's most of my problems though and I don't see why I'm leaving my opinion here so... Luna lost her soul several times... look at her eyes near the rocks with glyphs.

I feel the same way! I think it's because of the way they interrupt the previously spoken word when another level of power is added.
Or the fact that they don't speak in the show to do the same spells.

If an official MLP game ever came out, I would want it to be a massive open world RPG like Skyrim, with the level of graphics above.
I don't much like the look of the Spyro world, though the games are very fun!
My childhood video game system is the sega geniuses 32 bit with games like sonic the hedgehog and street fighter. The ps1 came into my life back in 2002-2003.
