    Which Story Deserves A Sequel?

I have written many stories for this site and am happy to see each of them appreciated and enjoyed by my readers. I've enjoyed the feedback and, for better or worse, have read the comments left on the various stories. Even when I don't comment back to all of them, I take what is said in them into account.

Winter Morning Project II · 3:49pm Nov 1st, 2015

Happy Post Halloween! I hope you all had a fun time!

With Halloween over with, it's time once again for me to open things up for the Winter Morning Project! Time moves quick, which is why I'm choosing now to unveil my gift to you, dear followers!

For the holiday season, I will once again be writing a collection of short stories for all followers who submit characters. These stories will be small frame stories, taking place in Ponyville around Hearth's Warming Day which I will be using as a Christmas analog. Depending on what kind of requests I get, I will write a story that can encompasses everyone who puts forth the effort to enter a character.

Please note that diapers may be involved in this story collection, but will not necessarily be the main focus. Vanilla characters are allowed. This is not a sexual piece and any mention of diapers would primarily focus on the adult baby aspect of the lifestyle.

The project will be submitted around the week before Christmas. I want people to enjoy the story in the thick of the holiday season, but I don't want to submit it when everyone's too busy. When the holiday season gets close, be sure to keep an eye out for the story!

GENERAL STORY PLOT
It's Hearth's Warming Day and a fluffy layer of snow covers Ponyville. The morning sun begins to rise in the sky as slumbering ponies begin to stir. The sound of excited hooves are heard dashing down to their living rooms to open the piles of gifts that wait for them. Friends and family exchange gifts and some ponies even have mysterious presents from a secret admirer. Some find love, others find fantasy, and then a few ponies find a fresh pack of diapers waiting for them. It's a day of winter wonderland fun, gift giving, and friendship!

SCENES
New this year is the addition of "scenes", small starting points that will aid the stories' creation. On top of submitting the usual character information, those who wish to participate in the project should also request a scene by name. Anyone who doesn't specify a scene will be thrown into whatever scene I see fit. Please note that requesting a scene does not guarantee a spot for your character(s). Other scenes may be added later as time goes by.

LIGHTING CEREMONY
It's the night before Hearth's Warming Eve and the snow is already starting to fall for the holiday. Ponies gather near the center of town as the sun sets on the horizon. A tall evergreen stands beside town hall, wrapped in countless decorations and lights. When the sun fully sets the mayor of Ponyville flips a switch and the tree lights up the night with it's multicolored display. Hearth's Warming Day has begun.

GIFT OPENING MORNING
In the wee hours of the morning, children and children-at-heart wake up with bright smiling faces. Stampeding out their rooms they quickly wake up anypony who had the misfortune of sleeping in. Gifts wait for them under the tree and they couldn't be more excited to see what they get.

SNOWBALL FIGHT
Children sneak through the snow covered park, hiding from the other group in a full fledged snowball fight complete with trenches, flanking maneuvers, and, of course, snowballs.

RUSH DELIVERY
A pony rushes through town to get a last minute gift. They try to move as quickly as possible, but problems seem to fall in front of them on purpose.

A QUIET WALK
Hearth's Warming Eve doesn't bring happiness to everypony. To some, it brings quiet self reflection in the form of a slow walk through the quiet parts of town.

A FOAL INVESTIGATION
A group of children investigate the mysterious Santa Claws, an old griffin tale about a generous griffin who would give good children gifts. Their search takes them far and wide as they follow clues to uncover the truth.

MRS CAKE'S NURSERY
Tucked secretly in Sugarcube Corner lies a hidden nursery that's kept a close secret. Looking like a typical spare bedroom on the second floor, this room contains all the amenities one could expect for an adult foal. Mrs. Cake, it's primary caretaker opens her heart to a select handful of adult foals whom she spoils during this wintry season.

DIAPER PARTY
As Hearth's Warming Day draws to a close a group of diaper wearing ponies assemble under one roof for a party. Here they're able to enjoy the holidays with the added benefit of flaunting their diapers around.

HOW TO APPLY
To enter in your character for the project, please send a private message to my inbox with "Winter Morning Project" in the subject line. This will help sort things later on.

In your message, include the following:

Character Name:
Character Owner: [Put Anonymous If You Do Not Wish To Have Your Name Credited In The Description]

Age: [Can Be Numerical or Simply "Child", "Adult", "Elderly" Etc]
Cutie Mark:
Special Talent: [If Applicable]
Profession: [If Applicable]

Short Biography:
Other Notes: [If Applicable]

REMEMBER, the more detail you include in your character submission, the better your character will translate to the final piece. If I have a lot of material to work with, then I'll be able to better represent your character in the story.

DEADLINE: Submissions will be accepted until two weeks from now, the 14th of November at 5:00pm EST. Any submissions made after that time will be rejected.

RULES
1) You must be following me. This is a gift for my followers as my way of saying thank you. If you enjoy my stories enough to be part one, the least you could do is follow me.
2) Do not spam my Inbox. One submission for one character is enough. Filling up my inbox with twenty copies of your character description will not increase your chances to get top billing on this.
3) Requests on this journal don't count. I applaud your eagerness, but please submit your request to my Inbox. If you have any questions then you can ask them in the comment section, but any character submission put there will be ignored.
4) I Reserve the Right To NOT Include Characters. This is my gift to you for showing your support, but I will not freely write about characters that are obviously there for explicit and slanderous purpose.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. Can I submit multiple characters?
A. You can, but bear in mind that I might only pick one or two of the characters you submit. So be sure to submit your best ones!
Q. How long will my part of the story be?
A. It will vary. I can not guarantee a universal length because of the nature of this project. The better developed a character is, the more I have to work with and will likely extend their story length.

Oh good I lov t his last year,

-whispers- between you and me, it could have had more cake

3512975 Last year was very experimental because I wasn't sure how well it would have been received as well as having to cope with the variety of characters that were submitted.

I've ironed out a few things since then so this year should run much smoother!

Wooo! Submitted my character.
Last year's story is actually what made me stumble across your writing!
(I however disagree that it needed more cake. It OBVIOUSLY needed more cake-batter ice cream! x3 )
