Which Story Deserves A Sequel? · 3:34pm Sep 29th, 2016
I have written many stories for this site and am happy to see each of them appreciated and enjoyed by my readers. I've enjoyed the feedback and, for better or worse, have read the comments left on the various stories. Even when I don't comment back to all of them, I take what is said in them into account.
One running trend I have noticed is people asking for a sequel on a couple stories of mine. After so many asking for it, I have decided to focus my writing into a sequel of a story (or stories) that's in the highest demand.
So I ask everyone, which story of mine do you think is the most deserving of a sequel?

Based on the feedback I get, I will try my hardest in coming up with creating a sequel for well enjoyed stories.

Honestly, I would love to see Hard Working Princess get a sequel, but from Cadence's view point. I know she's touched on briefly but I think the whole process with her getting padded would be a good read.

I would like hard working princess to have a sequel. I've long wanted to commission it but it would have to be at least 20.000 words long or longer and that's far too expensive for me. I think it by far has the most potential and I have really been thinking about it a lot.
One thing I would really like you to do with it is give it a harsher tone. Quite a few stories of yours are so soft that they are kind of weak. I would love it if Cadance had a more teenage personality and be more rebellious to it initially. I'm not saying that it should be forced on her but teenagers often want something but still struggle against it once it's set in motion. I know Cadance is no teenager but she's still young and has been quite sheltered for most of her life, I think she would still have some of her rebellious traits in her. I really want to see some scolding and perhaps even punishment scene's from you. I don't think you've ever made a serious punishment scene for an MLP story. The ones that you have made are all over 2 years old and all are pretend rather than serious. I rarely see good discipline in MLP stories and I really think you could rise to the challenge.
Don't get me wrong; I loved soft atmosphere and the gentleness of the original but I think a sequel should be different from the original. Also Celestia was just a tad too cooperative at times, I would like there to be more struggle with it. One way you could do that is make Gem Cutter and Shining convince Cadance to sign something which says she can't stop it once it starts. After that she struggles quite a bit with her identity. At a few points she wants to stop it but she can't. Maybe you could also tie in Twilight. That Cadance has nightmares of Twilight teasing her as she once had her own diapers changed by Cadance (I know that's not cannon but that's never been a problem before). Later Twilight comes and though she playfully teases Cadance somewhat she's quite accepting.
What I mainly want to see though is Cadance offering serious resistance to the idea of wearing and especially using diapers. Discipline is also very important with stuff like this, it was for me one of the hardest things when I left home. I no longer had my mom who would keep me from doing bad stuff, I had to do that myself. I would really love it if you incorporated that into the story; That Cadance has to give up part of her own autonomy to Gem Cutter. That requires a lot of trust which Cadance over the course of the story learns to have.
She also would have a small amount of anger towards Shining who partially pushed her into this but can't really say he's wrong as she was over-stressed and making a lot of bad decisions. I think he would really be very supportive towards her but also stern when she's whining or misbehaving and helps pick her up when she's having a breakdown. You could have that she avoids and even snarls at him but later on she admits that she might be enjoying the diapers and foaling and you could then end it with sex (implied, not actually described) while Cadance is still diapered.
You could also implement what you said in the original and make Cadance become very cranky and uncooperative when she's tired.
A good place to end the story would be Cadance preparing to go to the fall party. That would tie together the two stories nicely.
Almost all of your stories recently are very small so you should try your hand again at something larger. Maybe try to aim for at least 25.000 words with it. That seems like a good goal.
I know I just listen a lot of things but a fluffy yet still powerful story is something you've never really done yet.
I know I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here but if you choose to go with my idea I would be honored to proofread it for you.
For me the three stories that I would love to see a sequel I would be:
1:Big Rumble
2:Cadence Control, I know it's old but I still think it's one of your bests
3:Story Time
Hard Working Princess was quite an enjoyable read for me. I like stories with well described messing scenes and character development too. I vote for a sequel to that
I would like to see a sequel or prequel to hard working princess, since I would either really like to see what happened with cadence getting used to the process, or another character who ended up going through the process(shining armor, twilight).
Other stories that have very interesting scenarios that I would love to see expanded would be: baby of the horde and/or kind of like me(not a lot of dragon stuff, it's always good to see), story time(maybe expand upon the hypnotic books and such, or even have versions that cause behavior/mental regression), new city new diaper(Big Mac is a favorite of mine, and I would love to see the daddy/little relationship expanded), cadence control(hypnosis stories can be fun to me, but I think a fun twist is that shining realizes what is happening later on, but the hypnosis helps him love it)
Those are just some of my initial thoughts. I really hope you continue writing, I love your stories!
I'd love to see a sequel/continuation to A Twist of Reality. It's one of those stories where the premise makes it ripe for potential expansion to show off different characters and large parts of Equestria under the influence of the magical wave. It'd be interesting to see more of Equestria living with their new padding and how the wave changes them accordingly.
To ne honest, i would really love a sequel to "Big Rumble" ^^

I would love to see "A Twist of Reality" finished personally, but as for something to see a sequel to I'd be more interested in seeing one for "Don't eat Strange Gems."

I would LOVE to see you do a sequel to Cadence Control. I loved that story and whilst i'd NOT want any use of male/male sex type stuff involved like in the 3rd chapter of Cadence control, i'd love to see a sequel to it either way. like with Cadence taking control of more people~
I think that you should do a sequel of either Demotion, Story time, or Big Rumble. Demotion would be the best because it wouldn't be hard to continue it and it was also one of your best stories. Story time was another good story and also left semi-open. big rumble was a great story but i'm not sure that it would be anywhere near as easy to continue because i cant remember where it left off,
Another one for Hard Working Princess. Though maybe we could see better juxtaposition of the Princesses's foal sides with their adult responsibilities.
"The Cherry Dragon" is another one that seems ripe for expansion with its idea of a diaper-themed strip club.
"The Fantastical Far-Fetched Feats of Flower 'Power' Heart" definitely needs to be continued given that it could really develop one of your characters.

Story Time, Cadence Control, or Test of Time.

I actually quite liked coach Rainbow Dash. I believe that was the first of your stories I was led to. I liked the future flash element, and Scotaloos feeling for Rainbow dash growing to something more. Scotaloos and Rainbow bonding stories are one my favourite themes, maybe you could expand on that more. Maybe another slight time skip with Scoots now a wonder bolt trainee with a crush on her flight instructor everyone else thinks is a tough as nails vet, but Scoots still remembers her as the kind hearted mare, with Rainbow struggling to balance being a friend and a CO. Opportunities for relationship growth, on both sides, each learning from each other to be more like who they once were (a kind friend and a child) not who they pretend to be now.
Alternatively the childhood stories are an interesting switch from the more mature themes and are always good for fuzzy moments.
Story Time or Cadance Control, as both I feel could have interesting followups.
For Story Time, I think you could carry on from where Thunderlane was, and maybe have Soarin find him in his regressed state, along with another book in the series.
For Cadance Control, I think it'd be amazing if her kinks and new-found talent went to her head and she started hypnotizing more and more ponies.
Whatever ends up getting a sequel, I'm sure I'll love it~

I would love to see the story of Cadence getting put back into diapers. It was mentioned in Hard Working Princess that she was also double diapered and messy. I would love to see that transition from Ruler of the Crystal Empire to padded ruler. Additionally, I would love to see Shining Armor help, but take on a more dominate role, even administering punishments. The idea of Cadence acting like a bratty teen and being forced into diapers for her own good, and then coming to accept them, is very appealing to me.

You are just repeating what I have said. Do you have any ideas of your own?
One thing I think that would be a major theme would be the surrender of control. Cadance has been raised to be a princess all her life so it will be quite hard for her to give up that control. I've always imagined Cadance as very controlling and somewhat overbearing. She will need to learn how to also surrender herself to both her bodily desires and to the authority of her caregiver. To me at least that's the most important part of AB, letting go of your adult responsibilities and again completely trusting someone else.
Maybe he could put in the beginning that Cadance has been very cranky and hostile to everypony, including Shining as she really has been suffering from insomnia. She really feels like she has to take on the worries of the entire crystal empire even though she's still so young.

I felt your post was far better suited to convey more or less what I had in mind. My reply to your post was, more or less, my agreement with your expansion on what was in my head. Additionally, I do like the thoughts you have on Cadence's personality and think that would be an amazing story to read.

For large part I just used what was in the original. Cadance's behavior is quite like that of a teenager such as the rapid cycling through her emotions.
Gem also said she get's cranky when she is tired.
But don't you have anything to add? Any specific scene's maybe?
I'm a bit on the fence whatever I would like spankings in it or not.

Hard Working Princess is definitely a good candidate, and it seems to be the most suggested here.
But personally Baby of the Horde would be my first pick. or Don't Eat Strange Gems, Spike doesn't get enough content in general, I think.

I've never liked age regression as I feel it lessens the impact of the diapers. I also would really like to see how she can combine it with her royal duties.
