OC Hunger Games Season 2: Challenge One! · 8:36pm Oct 31st, 2015
Heyo! Welcome to the very first challenge of the OCHG Tournament! Here, we will present the contestants their first challenge and they will have until Wednesday to complete the challenge, making Thursday their late day. I don't wish to dilly dally too long so I'll just come out with the challenge.
In the spirit of Halloween, this will be a particularly spooky contest. See, every character has a fear, whether it be something as simple as spiders and heights, others it's far deeper than that. Such as loneliness or abandonment. So here, your character will conquer an embodiment of their fear. Here is the challenge prompt.
Your character awakens in a dark, empty room with nothing but a small table and a note that reads,
'Everybody is scared of something, so tell me... What're you afraid of?'
Your character must answer aloud and honestly. Then, an embodiment of that fear will appear before them and they must defeat that fear. Conquer it!
Make sure to write this in a GDoc format, and it must be 1.5 to 2 pages long, and you have until Wednesday, Thursday at the latest to turn something in. However feel free to turn in early work. May the odds be ever in your favor... Oh, and happy Halloween kiddies.
