I'm starting my first day at work today, and I was wondering if any of you have any kind of advice. I'm going into training as a server so...I'm not sure how to go about things and would greatly appreciate any tips or inspirational words. I know this is short, but I have an hour to get ready and I need to get some things done.
Edit: I will update this when I get back to let you know how things went.
The update: It was fine, better than fine actually. The other servers were really nice and I didn't mess up as often as I thought I would. Still terrified when the party showed up though. 1-4 people I have no problem with, but when 5 or more show up I get really nervous. Anyway, today was a good day.

While not from personal experience, if my friend's word is anything to go by... never volunteer to wash dishes (if that is an option severs have where ever u be workin).
