100+ watchers and what it means for YOU · 12:47am Oct 28th, 2015
Welcome and thank you for glancing over at the very least this blog post! It's been a long road, with bumps, hiccups and breakdowns along the path of the Author. The trail is nowhere close to finish, if nothing else, it spans ever hopeful into the future. But along the way, not only has my stories have grown in popularity (Taming the Storm, No So Simple Simple Life, New Kind of Party, and Perfect Pitch all having at least 1,100 views if not more), but I now have 102 watchers. 102 people personally consider me and what I write to be good enough to keep an eye on for future stories as well as the ones I have now. To this, I have only two words:
Thank you.
For the past two weeks, I have been sick. Physically at least. Yeah, I'm one of those lucky ones that stay sick for a long time. Before then however, I was sick in that I was extremely 'down in the dumps'. There was a lot of changes going on in my life and a lot of stress. Things have started to calm down, and things are starting to turn around. Finally. While thinking about how I can earn more money, I remembered what I had forgotten a month ago: I wanted to earn money by writing. Through Patreon and through my own original content. The OC stuff is still in the works, but I'm going to pick that back up. However, for more pony works (faster updates, more focus on them and so on), please consider pledging. Anything really. Even just a dollar helps me in the long run. I'm not going to bleed anyone dry. I don't have the time or focus to write THAT much. And I won't break up chapters into smaller segments in order to milk the pledges. But I would appreciate it if you would at least considering pledging something. Starving artists have to eat too. : )
Aside from all that, I would like to thank each and every one of you guys who are watching my progress in the world of writing. I'd also like to especially thank Gwg for his many years of help and patronage. And I'd like to thank Shutup868 for his help and patronage as well. They both help edit these stories and keep me a little more coherent. They also have pledged to my account, letting me be able to write and earn a little bit from it. Thanks guys!
