Hey ho there my horse buddies! I have been tossing around the idea of bucking down and doing a Nano Wrimo this November. Now I'm guessing you folks may see a rub here "How the fuck is this dick gonna do that AND get me my favorite brand of SunDazzling fictional goodness?!" And dear strawman I have an answer for you, quite simply if I choose to try and get a NaNo complete I might actually need a full month between chapters. Ok please, put the pitchforks and gelding knives away, I know I'm scum and I apologize BUT, I want you folk's feedback.
Goes like this, I have the idea for the story. As some of you may have guessed I am a prolific fan of high fantasy novels, and tabletop gaming. Hence my inspiration for a fun romp through the seas of a fantasy world through the eyes of a pirate. An orc pirate. An orc pirate with a cannon for a left arm! I have lots of fun ideas, and a 50k word short story seems like a fun way to get that rolling. So folks if you think it's a good idea, if you hate it and want to lock me in a room and torture chapters of the story out of me, if you're indifferent and just want me to shut the hell up whatever, let me know.
Write whatever you wanna. If you need to get another story out of you, I'll be here when you get back. No point to holding creativity to the grindstone.
I'm not sure what a NaNo is. Might be my age, but... heh.
