Now that my epic title has attracted your attention, I can inform you of my current dilemma. I have many projects that I can work on, but I need YOUR help to decide. In my current arsenal, I have the following: The next and final chapter of "You Are The Father", an action fic involving Granny Smith and Cranky Doodle, and a romance fic. The trouble is...I don't know which to work on first. Due to some minor OCD, I can only work on one project at a time, so I need some help on this one. Whichever option gets the most votes will be my next project.

Two things.
One, I think you should develop the romance story; I'm interested in what you can come up with. That or the other one... I think the whole 'You Are The Father' fic should be kept as a one hit (Again, that's just my opinion however).
Secondly, to properly link images (and that includes gif's), all ya gotta do is click on that anchor symbol while you are writing the blog, and add the image's raw URL, not the webpage that supports it.
That way, people wont have to C & P your links!

277630 As for how Portal did that. All you have to do is click the image icon in the comment box and copy the direct URL from the image or gif that you want to use.
If you are copying an image, right click on the image before selecting 'copy image url' from the drop-down bar that appears (paste this in the designated box that appears once you click on the image icon in the comment, blog, or story editor box). Any site that has the image on it can be used.
For example, using the steps I just mentioned...

PS: if you are trying to simply link an image or a gif, like this --> Vinyl...?, all you have to do is click on the anchor diagram in the comment, blog, or story editor box, then C and P the link like I explained in the other two tutorials . When it asks for the word, whatever you type will appear in blue, like 'Vinyl...?' did here. if you want to link a web page to a comment, blog, or story, click the anchor icon and Copy & Paste the webpages url.
