Late Chrimas and Future Stuff · 2:45am Dec 28th, 2019
Yeah, I'm two days late to the ho-ho-ho party, but hope every one of you had yourselves a splendiforous holiday and continue into the new year without falling flat on your face. It's fun, but it loses its appeal after several years in a row. Keep your resolutions realistic, but be sure taking care of yourself is on there if it isn't already. That stuff's important.
Anywho, the main point of this is to bring up what future content is in the cards. A few things, actually, but let's start with the one most likely to be released from my dungeon the soonest.
1. A sequel (technically prequel) to Princess Problem.
Yeah. So that's happening. This one involves Shining Armor and Cadance, so do with that thought/set of thoughts what you will. The outline is almost done, so work on that should begin once the holiday season concludes and I don't have people I'd still like respect from (family) looking over my shoulder. I'll give more updates as details are fleshed out, but that is what it be for now.
2. Some bigger, dark-oriented project involving Diamond Tiara
Now, I do actually have two chapters fully written and ready for this, but some of my long-time followers will know this of my past larger projects: consistent schedules and I did not -- and still somewhat don't -- mix. I figured I'd finish writing it before I actually began posting and keep a consistent schedule with the chapters. Less inconvenience for both reader and author! As it stands, I am in the middle of working the third chapter into a readable, somewhat comprehensible format. There should be eight chapters, so step by step we go. As tempting as it is to just get the chapters going now, I don't want this to end up like Black Sun Nation or other such projects where nothing was planned after the first initial chapters and the project falls apart.
3. One Shots
As I've come to find, one-shots are kinda neat. They don't induce as much of a "head-through-a-wall-why-won't-you-work" reaction as bigger projects do, and allow tale-spinning that doesn't need hundreds of pages to resolve. Most of my one-shots previously were spur-of-the-moment and not meant to go very far, but maybe I can focus on putting out some more of those, too. What kind? Not sure. When one does come up, you'll know.
4. Old Projects
I won't lie, there are a few older projects I've put thought into continuing or rewriting. For example, I don't think my current writing style would blend well with what I had for Hoursecarl's Journey, so if I were to return to that, it would be with a rewrite. Billybob is, well, Billybob, so I'd probably just add more to it and put more fuel on the dumpster fire. Whether there's interest or not I don't know, but that bridge will be crossed once it's built and meets the requirements for crossing.
That's all I have for now, folks. Keep clam and and Glim-Glam.
