    Busy Few Months

Sorry again for not updating any of my stories for a while. It's been a busy few months. I had to graduate High school, prepare for going to college (Maybe I should have taken a gap year), getting everything ready to go to college, and then finally moving into college. I only just finished moving in earlier today and it's going to be busy for a while. It might be a while before

    Time Drainer

Well, I wasted well-spent an entire weekend playing the new Legend of Zelda game on my new Switch. It's just so cool. It reminds me so much of the DS and the Wii and the Gamecube and a bunch of awesome Nintendo stuff. I barely touched my computer all weekend til this blog. I'd still be playing right now if I didn't have to switch off with my brother (we decided to get a Switch as a joint

    So yeah....another broken bone...

I broke my big toe. At least I'm pretty sure it's broken, since it looks like Deku's arms after using his power in My Hero Academia (one of my new favorite animes).

I'm probably not even going to bother getting an x-ray of it as apparently there's nothing doctors can do about a broken toe except wrap it in bandages and wait for it to heal.

    Delay in Plans

I know I said I hoped on getting the next chapter of The Cosmic King done by this week, but there has been a delay in plans. I had a four day weekend, which I was planning on using to write, but instead I caught a cold and had to spend this entire weekend resting. It's almost gone, but I probably won't be able to finish the next chapter by this week. I'll try for next week though. I want to try

Happy Valentine's Day/Hearts and Hooves Day to you all! I hope you enjoy today in the company of loved ones and/or ponies, or whatever you choose. I'm not sure what else I should say here... Enjoy chocolate (I know I will).

The Plague Master order of chapters · 9:36pm Oct 12th, 2015

So, after posting the recent chapter of The Plague Master, and reading the comments, I decided to make the edited The Doctor is In chapter be the prologue to the original The Doctor is In. I'll try to make another prologue chapter to give him some motivation, then change a few things in the other chapters to fit the new beginning. I have a basic idea of what the chapter will be about, but I still need to think about how he'll learn how to use his powers (I might just have him learn them in a fight, but that's a bit cliche). I'm open for suggestions on what you think.

Also, I need to think of a better chapter name for the chapter I recently posted. I need something either doctor related, or Plague related. (Don't suggest anything like '[insert plague name here] starts in Equestria]' because I have that planned for later).

Any advice is appreciated.

The main killer of the Story for me was your introduction of another crossover so soon after the story started. You already have a wealth to work with just plagues, ponies and the local wildlife. Also just the first few chapters alone a lot of it seems to easy for the main character though this could be your scenes being brief.

Well you could name it "Welcome to Plague Inc", since that's how a game starts after you name the plague.

As for learning his powers, How I see it the Manticore, which is sick as you've already stated, tries attacking him but the disease acts to protect him causing intense amounts of pain in the manticore(still think it would be cooler if you went with something else like the Jersey Devil or something) and he can feel what the disease is doing. He tells it to stop, it doesn't listen he gets angrier, his hands glow red and tells it stop again and it works. From there he starts to slowly learn how to control the virus, eventually leading to him saving the Manticore and gaining a friend.

Or

The manticore disease starts acting up allowing him to escape in which he starts having a panic attack as he recognizes the beast because he was taught about greek mythology like they used to in grade school and he knows it shouldn't exist and the possible dangers lurking in every shadow start to get to him but he starts to breath, and begins to meditate.(Actual meditating, the OHM things is not what everyone does. Meditating is for the most part. Drowning everything out as you focus on one thing. Like your breathing or a flame.) From their, as he starts to concentrate his powers manifest in being able to sense the things he can control like the disease inside the manticore. He starts to focus on the manticore and "sees" how the disease is killing it. He tries to intervene but is too far away. He runs tries to help the manticore tries to hurt him, he calmly talks to him, his medical training kicking in, and through the manticore's permission tries to stop the disease. Right now he doesn't know how to stop but figures out he can pull it out into him. Now he's stuck with the disease until he either gives it to something else or his body become immune to it which could take anywhere from to a few hours to a few years depending on the disease.

3467151 Ooh, the absorbing the disease into yourself sounds like a good idea. I might use that. I want to respond more, but I'm worried about spoiling things from the story. Also, the welcome to plague inc sounds like a good idea for the chapter.

Thanks for the ideas!
