    Where I'm at now.

I couldn't tell you why I still have a FIMFiction tab open on my browser, and I can't even tell you the last time I clicked onto it. I think it's realistic that posting this is the last major activity I'll grant the site.

    Ten years today.

According to the info blurb beside my name, this is the ten-year anniversary of this account. And to think, this all started with me doing self-insert riffs on bad MLP fiction. And now I've got two finished stories under my belt, a crossover atrophying in a forgotten corner, and two other projects completely pony-unrelated I've finally put some words down for*. And also the last vestiges of my

    F/F/T3K19 THE SORTA FINAL

Last month's riff is complete. Enjoy.

This month, we're finally, finally finishing that riff of a riff we started god knows how long ago. We've spliced in a tiny Christmas story in there too.

F/F/T3K19 10/4: When the pasta is creepy.

Alright, we didn't exactly intend to slow down quite this much quite yet, but that's how we're gonna roll now. Here's last month's riff.

I'll do Friendship Games sometime tonight.

So that map's a lot sparser in terms of popping up than I was hoping. This is only the third time in more than half the season, AND it's sent them somewhere we've already seen. It did lead to the return of Coco Pommel, though, who was pretty adorable in this. And the goal of the episode is actually a pretty nice one.

This is the lowest-key map episode so far. The others at least had an antagonist or a sense of adventure. Not that it hurts the episode, of course; in fact, I think it worked to its benefit, Those theater actors were absolutely stuffed with ham and cheese, too.

This was a nice little slice-of-life. I had fun watching it, which is something I've been saying extremely and refreshingly often this season. Of the cluster of Rarity episodes, though (and I know this was half Applejack's too so hush), I think my favorite is still "Rarity Investigates!" (which I know was half Rainbow's too so hush).

See you tonight for a recap of Friendship Games, and next week for one of "Brotherhooves Social," which looks like a companion episode to this one. I thought them bringing up the Social would be important somehow.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw it come up again. I was like, "Oh yeah, that does exist!" Then my roommates and I hmm'ed and haw'ed as we tried to remember when it last showed up. Wait, it seriously last happened in that griffon episode? Wasn't that, like, half a season ago?

My guess: The Map will only make one more appearance, this time for the Twishy ship. I think it's refreshing that Twilight has taken a bit of a back seat overall this season, making her appearances as the mainest of main characters, but there's heavier focus on the other characters. Twilight's excitement at having something to do, then learning that there wasn't anything for her to do, pointed this out pretty clearly. Then we've got human Twilight instead of pony Twilight in Friendship Games (I know that's your next blog), so there's even less visibility on her.

My theory is that she, just like the other three princesses, is now being relegated to background pony. :twistnerd:
