DJ: So, me and GameJunkie have been talking about Liberty Prime's story and it's future.
In said conversation came up the subject of crossovers. Currently, we're on the fence about doing crossovers, for reasons that I’m not saying.
Junkie: I want to say, I won’t really point fingers, but the first crossover we attempted...fell on it’s face. And exploded. Twice.
DJ: True that. True that. So, in light of that, I’ve decided to make a poll to see what you all think. In the end, you guys don’t have the final say, we do, but it’s to help us decide.
Junkie: Because really, I don’t want to entirely lose the chance to screw around with the big metal man in other people’s worlds, but, like I said. Twice. Exploded. Horribly. And not with Holy Frag Grenades like a good crossover could end up doing.
DJ: Yeah. In any case, here’s a link to the poll. And please note, there’s more than just yes and no, so please answer to what you feel suits you best.

I'd say close it off from crossovers until you've gotten a little deeper into the story. Get a good foundation for things and then have crossovers later, as a side thing. That way you can have him visiting/meeting other Displaced and such without it majorly impacting things (unless you decide upon that).
