Night Star's dramatic reading · 6:07am Sep 11th, 2015
Hello,
I'm making this post to propose to you to go take a look at Night Star's youtube channell where she does dramatic readings. There are two reasons for that.
- The weakest one is that she did a reading of "In her name" and it's always fun to hear somebody try to pronunciate "the Fliglerively and the Ropronublishu. When sinisinrodu and ornifulisofulou wishnigortol bigarticali".
- The second one is that she is starting the experience of reading fanfictions and could need your support if you're willing to show her some. She has already read some other stories from better authors, like Luna's Coffee and Luna's Wrath.
Also, she is searching for two or three short good Rarity stories if you have any ideas to share with her.
I know my word won't attract crowds to her benefit, but I feel it's the least I could do to help. Even if the best advice I could give her is to choose to read the most popular stories first, even if they have been read a thousand times, like this one or this one. In that regard, I don't really understand why she chose to read one of mine...
Also, while I'm at it, I just want to notice how great it is to hear something you've written read out loud by someone else. All the mistakes tend to reveal themselves (I loved when she noticed that something in the story didn't make much sense) and all what is good tend to shine too.
I've always seen writing as trying to give life to something that I want to exist. And, let's be honest, there is just so much you can do with words. So having it translated to audio feels great.
As for certain things I've experienced those last years, I can only wish every author or, like me, wanna-be-authors, will have the chance to experience having at least one of their stories read out loud like I have.
