Well, would you look at that? I actually did a thing! And it only took me two years... yeah...
Before continuing, I feel it's necessary to once again thank these fine fellows (m1ntf4n and PheonixStarr) for looking this thing over before I threw it out into the world to drown in the sea of stories.

So, something finally got written. And, once again, it wasn't what I was originally working on. Backstory time!
Sometime in 2013 or 2014 (I can't remember now; I've slept since then), I fell away from the fandom, and I never even finished Season 4. A little over a month ago, I came back due to nostalgia, and found myself quickly roped into all of this again, all due to this fanfic by Doccular42 (Go give it some love!), and decided to start writing again!
I had intended to write that Luna story I've been talking about for (quite literally) years now, but I hit a bunch of mental blocks (not to mention canon changing my headcanon) when attempting to do so. In an effort to bypass them by searching for sources of characterisation and/or inspiration, I rediscovered this song and found that someone had made an animation for it, and I was blown away. Then I had the idea for The Sun's Torment. The rest is (recent) history.
So, what's next?
Well, I still plan on writing that Luna story... eventually. My biggest problem right now is finding a way to make it work properly, but after getting a question answered from Doccular42, I found I really just have to go for it. I wouldn't expect it anytime soon, but this thing is my pet project. I have to try to write it.
As for other projects, I have at least two story ideas, both of them ridiculous.
One I only have the general idea for, and am unsure how to end it. It might be another one-shot, or I might make it a longer story, depending on how I flesh it out.
The other has to be a longer, multi-chapter thing, which in and of itself makes me excited. Also, it's a goofy crossover. Yay?
In the hopefully near future, I plan on trying to at least start one of these, but if it's a multi-chapter story, I probably won't post any of it until I have several chapters already. In that case, it'll likely be a while before anything new pops up.
Regardless, barring very very bad things happening, there will be something new soon (TM).
