Lemegeton was originally pseudo-Latin (technically just really badly translated Latin from Hebrew) for The Lesser Key of Solomon, a grimoire supposedly written by King Solomon. The book is also known as the Clavis Solomonis or the Clavicula Solomonis Regis. The Esoteric Archives describes it best:

The name Lemegeton is probably naively invented because of the compiler's ignorance of Latin. He or she was no doubt familiar with the Clavicula Salomonis (Key of Solomon) [a different book by the same name- ed.] and wanted to title this work the "Little Key of Solomon;" this became "Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis."

Nowadays, "Lemegeton" is the catchall term for magical/alchemical circles, as well as an alternate name for the Lesser Key of Solomon.

No, I draw from life experiences, but starting a magical war in a mid-size city in the US is not one of those life events that's happened to me. Worst thing that happened to me as of late is that the hot water heater in the house broke down and that's hardly a crisis.

I'm a writer, and I like to expand my boundaries. 7DSJ Book IV is just one of them. And as I mentioned before, the change is so stark (between that and Book III) that's the reason Book IV exists. I'm also a graphic designer, and I know what constitutes good design, especially when you want to make an impact.

Also if you look closely, the "franchise" title is worn as well:
