Hey everyone. So here's the deal: this chapter is looooooong. Like, I've been working on it for a month straight, and I'm still not done with it. Thus, I've decided to split it into two. You've all been waiting for a while with no new update, and rather than wait possibly another week and dump everything on you at once, I'm going to release the first half or three-quarters of the chapter today, once I give it a look-through, and post the second half later this week.
I apologize for it taking so long, but this is a big chapter in terms of story. It's the chapter where we finally find out about our human's past. As you can probably imagine, making sure it isn't terrible has been at the forefront of my mind since I started writing it. I've deleted whole sections for not being good enough, and re-written entire pages worth of text at least twice. Hopefully it'll all pay off, and you'll think the end result is just swell. Golley gee willikers, or something.
Look for the first half to go up later today after I catch some sleep, then the conclusion to the chapter around Wednesday of next week. Unless I'm not satisfied with it.
Thanks for being patient, and thanks for reading my story that has gone on for far too long and consists mostly of faffing about and spouting nonsense.

Speaking of attention to detail and TLC, oh man, you must be absolutely beaming at all the Rarity episodes of late that have come out. I would love to see a blog writeup about your thoughts on the "Rarity Investigates!" episode in particular.
