Back from Vacation! · 5:26am Aug 20th, 2015
So, since I didn't say I was going on vacation, I guess this is sort of unneeded but I am going to say it anyway!
I am back from my three (Well really two and a half) day vacation across the state I live in to visit my grandfather. It was quite an interesting journey, seeing as Central and Eastern Washington State, both of which I had to cross to get to my Grandfather, are basically on fire. For anyone who doesn't live in the US, or who doesn't watch the news regularly, I had to drive through basically thick blankets of smoke due to a series of massive, and now one complete, wildfire that is currently wreaking havok over in Chelan.
And, while I was there, an area west of Spokane caught fire.
Needless to say, I smell like a campfire, and am tired (Its a 5 hour one way trip, I made that trip twice with a period of sort of rest while we ran all over creation with my grandfather), but home and ready to get back to work!
