Dusk Shine's Saga Character Profile: Cloudchaser and Flitter · 1:48am Aug 20th, 2015
Dear Princess Luna, if Thunderlane is the self-sacrificing and noble stallion, Cloudchaser and Flitter are far more the casual bachelorettes. That makes it interesting that the three have been at least socially connected since being foals, and even more amusing that they appear to be romantically entangled.
Always at your service,
Dusk Shine
Name: Cloudchaser / Flitter
Nicknames: Unknown.
Age: 24 / 24
Sex: Mare / Mare
Birthday: April 1st
Clan: Pegasus / Pegasus
Height: 5'7 / 5'7"
Weight: 146 / 151 lbs
Build: Just fit enough to be called in shape, but nowhere near the athletic build of Dash, let alone Bronze or Lyra.
Hair: Pale cerulean with white highlights / Light opal.
Wings: Pale persian blue / Pale persian blue.
Eyes: Light rose / Pale raspberry.
Cutie Mark: Shooting star / Three blue & white dragonflies.
Bust Size: more moderate / more ample.
Occupation: Due to their impish propensity to fool around and play pranks, both mares work mostly as part-time members for the Weather Team, but also try to find work as foalsitters, thanks to Cloudchaser’s ability to connect with foals and Flitter’s patience. When times are really tough, they will take jobs from the Ponyville labour union to make ends meet.
Scars or accessories? Both like small pieces of jewelry and try to accessorize, but don’t appear to have any specific favorites they’ve singled out from what I can tell.
Close relationships: Thunderlane, their shared stallion-friend, possibly more? Rumble, a foal they helped raise for years both before and after his mother left Ponyville. Cloudkicker*, older herd sister in Cloudsdale working as a teacher at the Weather School.
Personality: Both playful and roguish when they work together, Flitter is the more serious of the two, while Cloudchaser tends to be more interested in just having fun.
Skills and Quirks:
Pegasus Flight – Both are simply above-average flyers. Not as powerful as Thunderlane, nor as flexible as Dash.
Good with foals – Be it their playful nature, or simply the fact that they are young at heart, they really do get along well with foals.**
* - Unconfirmed, but according to Ponyville records they share a father, but different herd mothers.
** - I am considering having a word with Cheerilee about testing them as possible teachers at Ponyville school. If their talent with foals can be harnessed, they would make great teachers.
