The big one is now up: act 3 of Impossible Things, which yet again has just barely broken my record for longest chapter posted, and marks 100 000 words of the Crown of Night, has been published!
The epilogue, being the third and final chapter in this block of updates, will go up at some point next week along with a batch of story notes delving into some obscure details of the storyline. Of which there were quite many, as it turns out.
Also, sadly unconnected to this story, today I learned that in the 1800s camels mounted with mobile artillery guns played a crucial role in several wars in the Middle-East. And now you know it too.
This certainly was an interesting chapter. Poor Queen and Discord.... It seems that families cannot get a break in this universe.
As a side note, those Zamburak sure are interesting. I note that they later developed a Gatling-gun version... It is like a 19th century Technical. Now I am curious as to what kind of conversation/wikiwalk led to their discovery.
