Wave Blaster: Year Two: Good Moments (Part Three): The Wave Writer Strikes Again · 10:17pm Jul 11th, 2015
Okay, before listing Show MUST Go On! and its successors' AWESOME! moments, I would like to tell you guys what is the story behind that fic. I called it one of my darkest moments, but in fact, it was the end of one of my darkset moments. Show MUST Go On! marked a very strong turning point in my writing trajectory and it's important for any of you who want to know a little more about me (which I'm assuming here is the reason of you following me, but I could be wrong, in which case, I'm sorry for the following rambling).

Now back to our regular programming with the AWESOME! moments of my Trixie Period.
- One for good old Freddie Mercury and his wonderful song.
- The meta one first: Wave's comeback of a very bad mod and the fact that Show MUST Go On!'s publication marked the end of Wave's self-imposed hiatus.
- Wave asking for critics, even if it hurts, because his art is more imporant
- "Don't cha worry, mate. I got a good hour before lunchtime is over and I like a good story. [...] Go ahead, tell me everything." The kindness of a stranger is what sets everything on motion.
- Trixie willing to tell her tale, her story. Even if beaten down, the showmare is ready to keep the show up.
- Hope Lumamoon's life, to the point she's called a modern day Starswirl!
- Lil Trix being able to follow a strict study routine, then travel to Canterlot to apply to Celestia's School and leaving the orphanage forever, all by herself and at the age of twelve.
- Even if Celestia's School wasn't what she expected, and her time there was anything but nice, Beatrice never gave up, ever.
- The Masters from Neigh Orleans, mentoring Trixie and even telling her about her mother.
- Trixie's escalation to success, even retaking her mother's tittle as Great and Powerful.
- All the ponies in the cafeteria taking their time to cheer Trixie up
- "Life is a choice and I choice to live."
- Another meta: The Shout-Outs. Wave took everything he knew at the moment about fiction, and it shows.
- All of the three stories were written in the time-spam of two hours and in the whim of the time.
- Trixie helping a very special couple to cross the desert and reach a town safely while the mare is giving birth. Yes, that couple.
- The Crystal Ponies still sticking to their tradition of peace, even after all this time.
- "The villains, the jerks, the bullies and the monsters, all of them decided to simply shrug it off, and continue the celebration." The power of Christmas, everyone.
- Meta: nightwalker's edits. They guy turned the cheesy b-series that was the original version into the BADASS! Michael Bay homage that was the final version.
- Trixie dead shooting a black 'n red alicorn OC. Mary Sue Season is open.
- Trixie's first three kills? With a revolver, against three robbers armed with machines guns.
- The cherry on top? It was her first time handling a gun, ever.
- Trixie's first professional kills also count, since she took down the sons of two big names of the city. She got out of it without being caught and it started her new business.
- Trixie taking down a guy pointing a gun at her at point blank, while she was unarmed.
- Trixie and Sonata's new clients ask for Adagio/Deathstroke or Aria/Black Manta. Trixie convinces them by pointing her rifle's laser to their heads from across the street.
- Sonata actually being professional during the above moment and when telling Trixie about her new target.
- Out of camera: Black Mask taking control of all Manehatten's organized crime.
- One for Twilight's book, for convincing Trixie of all ponies of being a better friend with her morality pet, a.k.a. Sonata.
- Gilda proving herself professional enough to impress Trixie. Especially after the later's opinion about the former was really bad.
- I call it the Machina, because what's coming out of it could kill a god. Good Lord that weapon.
- Black Mask's levels of crazy prepared, to the point that, even behind a bulletproof glass, he still wears a helmet.
- Flim and Flam proving their worth and how effective can their meta-weapons be. Trixie stops calling the morons because of that.
- Red Panzer no-selling everyone's attacks.
- "Dummkopf! I am Red Panzer! The Panzer! [...] Your puny little weapon is nothing to me."
- Issue #2's tittle: Unbreakable, untouchable. Impossible!
- Trixie keeping her cool against a bulletproof living tank advancing at her and gloating how much pain he will give her.
- Fragg this, even if he kills me, I'm going down swinging. Hell, I've dreamed of a death like this.
- Four words: "Ich durchbohrte die panzer,"
-Followed by "I just said 'I pierced the armor', you half-assed poser."
- "That's the problem with all of you, bulletproof boys. [...] You think you can't be harmed."
- Trixie sniping down Black Mask with her sidearm.
- Meta: The story won 3rd place in The Harmonists's first contest and it marks Wave's final step from "rambling fan" to " writer"
- Trixie passing to history as equal to the Elements of Harmony in power levels, even one thousand years later.
- History books treats her as important as Nightmare moon or Discord.
- Trixie the Fourth's will to bring back the family's good name is so great, she even convinces her daughter of carrying the task too.
- Ponyville's Institute, Equestria's main school for everypony, hosted by Princess Twilight Sparkle.
- Trixie the Fifth graduating as first of her generation.
- I also no longer hide the Trixie Lulamoon name, I embrace it. It isn’t a motive of shame anymore. It’s mine, and it means what I want it to mean.

- The closing part:
My name is Starbright Shine. I’m the fifth mare to use the name of Trixie. There will be a sixth one, but right now, it’s my time.
I’m already a graduated of her majesty, Princess Twilight Sparkle’s Ponyville Institute as the first of my class. In fact, I’m basically the first pony in centuries to pass with a straight 10/10 record.
Also, I gained Princess Twilight’s trust. Only this morning she sent me to prepare everything for her visit in Hoofington, tomorrow at the Summer Sun Celebration.
