So, I've been around the block, taken in the sights, learned a lot, shared a lot, but there's one thing I haven't done in my first year on fimfiction: publish a mature story.
It may come as a surprise, as it certainly did to me, but I am actually capable of doing something so crazy as to write a not total clop mature rated story. I want to caution young readers, this one isn't for you. I'm 38, as of this writing, and it may not even be suitable for me. Take that as you will, but know that this whole idea came about from reading a news article following the crowning of a new Triple Crown winner recently.
The idea popped into my head, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. The only way I could settle the nagging voices was to write the story. However, the story could only be written with a mature tag. I did my best to write a good story, so don't expect your run of the mill clop fest. Still, it's probably something you should take with a grain of salt.
Prepare yourselves, all you out there over the age of 21 18! It's coming*.

As a fellow 38-year-old[1] author who has also published Mature stories, I'll certainly be curious to see what comes out of this.[2] People get so self-conscious about writing adult topics, but sex is a part of life; there are some stories you can't tell without it, and heck, it's not like smut is valueless either. Either way, it'll be good to see another more-experienced author tackle the topic.
