Everyone goes through change, transformation, going through it for the better or worse. Be it physical or mental, that is the real showing of what makes someones character. Why not write about it?

    Progress on Sunless

Hey all. Its been a lil bit. Not dead. Actually alive and well. This pandemic has been quite a doozy and really threw my time and life into a freefall of sorts. Just starting to get things back in order now. I will be continuing Sunless. As a matter of fact I am writing it as we speak! I needed to refresh myself after being on hiatus so long but I hope to have things rolling again. Special thanks

Some more art and little delay

Hey all. I'm a bit behind unfortunately due to some sickness and just general issues. I've been wanting to pick up the pace with things and am going to try some ways to get more writing in more often. However this chapter may be a week or so behind (I've been kinda on a monthly release up until now). In the meantime, let me show you some fun art I got of Jovin in the meantime. Some of it is

    Some editing and fan art.

Hey everyone. Little update. First chapter got a little editing done and some changes, though anyone who already read it shouldn't feel obligated to read again. It was just some fine tuning and what have you. Chapter 2 I hope to put out before Bronycon if not a bit sooner (I'd like to attend it without having to worry about it :P). Lastly, someone made some fanart. Two of them actually. Thank

    Oh hello!

Um, wow. So like, I may have gone for a 'little' bit. Things really got away from me. Got a home, moved in with significant other, lost job, found new job, brokeup, moved to new home, you know, 'life stuff'. So today I just got a bit of inspiration to come back to this. I thought about resuming my fanfic I was writting, or maybe doing something totally new. I doubt anyone will see this or reply,

Story is out! · 2:41am Jul 7th, 2015

So I have finally got my fic posted with a prologue and 2 chapters! While it has taken time, what wasn't spent writing the story itself, was spent building character backstories and building the world around them. If you read about an OC with a name in this story, I can promise you they have enough backstory to them to have a little story of their own! (And a decent chance they have their own art, or will soon. Check here http://imgur.com/a/M4suT ) I already have a small appendices going with family trees and character naming logic. If any of you are interested, I was considering perhaps releasing it as a bonus or maybe do some character bios. Yes, I know, might sound a bit corny at the moment, but I really have put a lot of thought into the characters (I don't have a problem...). Let me know if you guys are interested!

Having good character background is a great thing and I don't see anything wrong with it. Except that sadness that not everything can be told, all those missed personal stories.

3235189 Right you are. It is a bit hard to not put an entire character so fully developed into a story where they play a minor role, but I just love to give quality to my OCs, and also, considering how wide my story is with the noble houses and such, there is quite a bit of room for sequels or side stories (if i get to them or if there is enough collective interest in said characters). I tend to play around with my OCs outside of my story quite often anyhow, being a longtime RPer first, so they all get some love one way or another!

Oh man, those RPers... That is something I haven't done heavily in a long time.

Depending on how quickly you can turn out words, it might be difficult to even get to all the characters that feel they have more of a story to tell. But the RPs can help get that little itch out I assume.

3235355 I love to RP. I do quite a bit of it, and most my characters got a bunch of test driving and sometimes go on to have their own big story arc and such. It gets exhausting sometimes. Lol.

How quick I turn out content just really varies. This story here is taking extra long because I am considering everything around it and I want to make my first one good. I honestly think I will be going for more smaller scale stories with not so much depth if I do extra side story bits. Perhaps little 'quips' of character stories.

I have recently been in one RP with just another but it seems more like I am the DM and she is just some plucky character I forced to be Blueblood for shits...

I know what you mean. I am nearing 100 followers by doing nothing more than commenting and I kinda want to write something. But I am too self critical so I end up writing partial drafts of everything and never being content. Side stories that fit in with the main narrative would work. It would just be a side thing for people to read if they wanted to unless you could find a way to make them stand on their own.

3235680 Being the narrator of an RP can run you out pretty fast, unless you enjoy that kind of thing. I have had a few of those. As for side stories, I'm VERY confident that I could make them stand on their own. Every character has their own little story to tell. Trying to tell them all right now though is probably going to be too much effort for too many stories at once. Not to mention that there is probably not a terrible many who are interested in them yet. When 'The Mirror Dance: Fractured Ruminations' is nearly at a close, then perhaps I will.
