Hai! I'm in the middle of writing a new story, but it's going slow, which is why you haven't heard from me much. However, I just got this idea for a contest today because of soda.

Yes, that's right. Because of soda.

Let me explain.

My first name is Erik. It's of Norse descent! It's got lots of different spellings. The most common is Eric. The most awesome and correct is Erik. It can be Erick if you're greedy and want all the letters, and it can be Eriq if you've starred on the hit television show ER. No matter how you spell it (though Erik is still the best and most correct), it's a fairly common name, I'd think.

SO WHY IS IT THAT I CANNOT FIND A COKE BOTTLE WITH MY NAME.

Seriously. I've found common names like John, Michael, and Elizabeth. I've found slightly less common names like Bo, Dallas, and Monique. I've found very unique names like Rohit and...well that's the rarest one I can think of. No offense to any Rohits out there; it's a nice name and I'm sure anyone with it is a cool person, but I can't say I've met any of you. But NO ERIKS. No permutations of Erik. I have found Erica and Erin, but Erik/Eric/Erick/Eriq/Erich/Erichkq/etc. is nowhere to be found.

So here's where you come in!

All you have to do is find a Coke bottle with the name "Erik" on it. I'll also accept Eric/Erick/Eriq/Erich/any version of the name (and I'm willing to bet Eric is the only one out there). Take a picture of it with a note next to it that has your Fimfic username on it, and post it as a response to this blog. The first person to do so will win a free story request! You give me a pony-related topic for a quick one-shot and I'll write it. Though I do reserve the right to refuse a topic. Also, I don't want to write human/anthro stories or stories involving another person's OC, and I'd like the story to not be mature since when I write mature stories I tend to want to go longer to get more story in around the sexytimes, and I'm aiming for a short little 1-2k word story with this.

So that's your mission! Do you have a little thing you'd like me to write? Well, go out and find an Erik Coke bottle!
