Dear Princess Luna, to help form a better picture of the population of Ponyville, I thought I’d provide you with a selection of profiles based off a random selection of ponies rather than simply one or two at a time. Next, I want to introduce you to the daughter of Derpy Hooves and a stallion records state was named Golden Panacea. She is a bright young student, and has already proven to be very strong with her magic, but has yet to discover her talent.

Occupation: Student. Second assistant to Derpy?

Scars or accessories? None I know of.
Close relationships: Mother, Derpy Hooves. Father, Golden Panacea, a doctor in Canterlot. Deceased. Aunt/Stepmother Amethyst Star, helped raise her from birth.
Personality: Playful, she is a dedicated student and happy volunteer who likes to help out with any project she is allowed to put her hands on.

Skills and Quirks:
Unicorn Magic – She has a lot of power, and has already learned everything her stepmother could teach her. She is still trying to find what the limits of her magic might be.
Cheery Nature – I’ve seen her hold a pony’s hand at a graveyard, and make the mare stop crying with soft words I couldn’t hear. She often follows her mother to the nursery, and is happy to keep company with the poor foals who are forced to live there.**

* - This is probably because she will help her mother with deliveries on her day off, and any that are made after school.
** - It’s a pleasure to see a girl who might one day usurp Pinkie Pie’s talent at keeping others company, comfortable and happy.
