Dear Princess Luna, to help form a better picture of the population of Ponyville, I thought I’d provide you with a selection of profiles based off a random selection of ponies rather than simply one or two at a time. Next, I want to introduce you to Amethyst Star, the bride of our local mailmare.

Build: Average build and weight for her height.
Hair: Moderate violet with light purple highlights.
Horn: Pale light grayish magenta.
Eyes: Moderate purple.
Cutie Mark: Three blue diamonds on the side of her neck, below the jugular.
Bust Size: moderate large for her height/size.
Occupation: Homemaker, part-time assistant to Derpy, renting out their spare bedroom suite. A Jill of All Trades.
Scars or accessories? A silver wedding ring, with dual stones of yellow and orange that match the color of Derpy’s eyes.
Close relationships: Older brother, Golden Panacea, deceased. Father in Canterlot, estranged. Marefriend Derpy and step daughter/niece Dinky.
Personality: Quiet, calm and supportive.*
Skills and Quirks:
Diverse Education – In her spare time, Amethyst has continued what she refers to as her diverse education. This includes her past education as a law student, and goes through many more fields, from bartending to home decorating.
Unicorn Magic – While I’ve not investigated the limits of her magic, she has shown proficiency with most all of the basic spells.**
* - While I’ve spent little time with Amethyst, what I have spent with her has shown her to be very supportive, and quite enthusiastic about whatever Derpy is doing.
** - Though I have yet to have witness her make any use of pyromancy or energy based spells.
