So, people were asking me about things Twilight would have to face. So here's a little peek.
Twilight smiled as she watched Rainbow carry Scootaloo about in the air.
"Come on Squirt! Put those babies to work!" Rainbow hollered. Scootaloo frantically flapped her wings, held up the entire time by Rainbow. Her wings were more than powerful enough to carry her at this point. But having never been off the ground she had developed a lot of bad habits that kept them from working properly. It was something Rainbow was trying to help her break through.
Twilight was left feeling helpless on the ground. All of her notes, all of her research...all of it was useless once Scootaloo was in the air. Sure, Twilight could explain to the T how and what Scootaloo had to do to fly, but actually doing it was different.
The Magian sighed to herself and returned her attention to her book, blinking as she found her wrists bound and her book gone. Glancing back up she found that Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash were both gone and the sky had faded to black. She pressed her back to the tree she sat under and pushed herself to a standing position, glancing around and finding that she stood alone upon a single floating island with the tree.
"It has a strange twisted sort of beauty to it..doesn't it?" a voice spoke up behind her. Twilight swivled around, finding a figure hidden in a blue cloak, the hood up to hide their face. She grit her teeth, her magic flowing through her.
"Do you really think thats the best idea? Take a look around Twilight. What is your magic going to do here?" the figure asked. Still she kept her magic ready, taking a second look around. In the distance she could see chunks of Eravile floating about in the unending void.
"What is this?" Twilight asked.
"This...is our fault." the figure said, lowering her hood. Twilight stared in shcok, seeing herself standing before herself with a sad smile.
"You have to wake up Twilight..." Cloaked Twilight said, taking a step towards her, eyes glowing a sickening red and purple.
"I-I don't understand!" Twilight screamed
"WAKE UP!" Rainbow Dash yelled, shaking Twilight. The Magian shrieked, summoning as much Magic as she could hold, pausing as her eyes latched onto Rainbows. The Skyborn was gripping her shoulder, panic plain across her face. Scootaloo knelt on her other side, pale as a ghost.
"T-Twilight? Are you okay?" Scootaloo asked, reaching towards her slowly. Twilight blinked a few times, glancing between the two Skyborn and swallowing the lump in her throat.
"I-I'm fine. Just a weird dream." Twilight stammered.
"No, fuck that. That wasn't some weird dream. Twilight, you were down here screaming like you were on fire." Rainbow argued.
This is all unpolished just sitting amongst my FOURGIGSOFSTORYSTUFF in my writing folder.
