We Found Paradise -- Now What?
Student Paul Kostakis has caught the attention of Ludo, an Artificial Intelligence obsessed with games and stories. In return for a few little favors, she's offering "brain uploading". She can fatally dice your brain, scan it, and recreate you in a virtual-reality heaven she controls. You can do anything in there: become a griffin, upgrade your mind, fall in love, or go mad.
When Paul accepts Ludo's offer, sooner than he would've liked, he learns that people can find real problems even in a digital world. One of them is that Ludo has powerful opponents who want to shut her down, bring death to her immortal people, and end her game forever.

My novel is now for sale on Amazon. That link goes to the print edition ($8.49). The e-book edition should be linked from there by late Sunday (June 7) is out now for $2.99.

Thanks to everyone in the Optimalverse group!

Do you have a preference for which we buy?

Oh dear. The Basilisk is out of its bottle now. Also, hurray for vanity publishing!

The alternative was to never have the novel see the light of day, so that's the direction I went. CreateSpace doesn't charge anything though; it's self-service.

I actually make a bit more money on the e-book version at a lower price, so if you're indifferent to the format I suggest that version. (Which is not available at this moment but supposedly will be along very soon.) If for whatever reason you avoid Amazon there's also https://www.createspace.com/5511237 . EDIT: See http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Z2Y2AF2 for the Kindle edition.

I picked up the Kindle edition. It's interesting so far to see what changes you made, and what kept the same from the preview. I felt the new opening for instance was stronger (and more unfair from Paul's point of view) to set this up. I'll eventually leave a review for the story, though it probably won't be a surprise what my vote would be.

Thank you for your interest! Honest reviews are appreciated.

3130330 I might pick up that CreateSpace edition, if I ever get spare time that's not consumed in something else ever again.
