Yey! The first few chapters of Dragon Story are out.
This is a story I've been working on for a while (what I talked about in the March blog). The picture above, however, was made way longer back, back in October.
I didn't have a plan for it at the time; it was a sort of impulse draw, since I'd recently seen some of AssasinMonkey's art on DeviantArt, and wanted to see if I could get a similar look to my characters. It changes art styles as it goes on, but at the point I am now (A couple chapters on from the current ones released) it uses the same art style.
I'm happy the original picture came out so well (in my opinion), and I feel like that's why I decided to make a story around it. The story is quite short, with about 100-300 words per chapter so far, with most likely more in later chapters. I've got a clear idea of how it's going to turn out, so it will be finished. It's really a matter of me making the rest of the drawings for each chapter!
I'm personally a lot more of a fan of this kind of fic. Writing a ton really fatigues me, and I find it interesting to convey a scene with just a few sentences.
It also shows my drawings off, which is always fun.
Anyway, try to get a chance to read it, if you can. As I've said, it won't take too much of your time, and I think it's worth it.
