So, uh, I realized I never properly edited Chapter 4.
I did a couple edits just now, but it's really late and I need some sleep. I'll fix the rest some other time. Sorry to anyone who reads it and sees the problems ^^;
On a side note, can I vent for a bit?
Could people who dislike tell me why? I'd like to know more about how I can improve.
Oh yeah and if you click the favourite button can you please also click the like button? It helps my ranking and relevance on the site's search engine (and it makes me happy.) Besides, I don't understand why so many people favourite but not like.
I might be able to give you a hint on the favorite thing, some people, myself included do it as away to track stories that aren't finished but liked so far or the concept of. I currently have 3 or 4 in my favorites I think that aren't completed. I can't say whether i like a story or not until its done.
...and, while it's rare and doesn't apply in your case, I sometimes leave stuff I'm following unrated because it's the only way to register a neutral (neither good nor bad... just aggressively bland) response to a story.
(Up/Down ratings really fall short. I'm a firm proponent of letting people rate on a scale from -2 to +2. It's like rating in stars from 1 to 5, but everyone can understand that it's to be interpreted as "strongly dislike, dislike, failed to evoke an opinion, like, strongly like".)
3119383 Oh...I guess that makes sense. Well what you're saying is, once the story is complete I might get a ton of likes?
3119399 Well yeah, I agree that it would be good if it was a ranking system instead.
It's just that to me, the like button comes first, then the favourite button if I REALLY liked it.
But that's just me.

On Fanfiction.net, I'd agree. Favourites are cheap here because you have to fave things to follow them. Because I'm principled, I created a group to act as faves in the sense that sites like Fanfiction.net and Twisting the Hellmouth understand them.
(That was before the shelves rework. Now, I have an empty Favourites shelf I really should delete for lack of subcategorization (it's still inferior to a "my favourites" group) plus four tracking shelves: Tracking, Read it Sooner, On Hold, and Read it Later.)
3120314 Ah. Only track things on my tracking bookshelf XD
I use favorites to track any story I'm interested in seeing the progress of. After the bookshelves rework that is no longer necessary, but I didn't feel like changing it. It doesn't apply to this story, but I have things on my favorites list I have disliked, simply because I had already committed to the train wreck and wanted to see where it went.
3120351 Oh. I see.
