Timelines for Squire's Tail

So, a recent comment reminded me I was going to write this.
Concerning the timeline of A Squire's Tail.
When I wrote the first one, Lunar Guards, I made reference in the beginning to the Changeling invasion having happened(there actually will be a reference to it in this one in a few chapters, spotted it while proofreading). Which is probably where things are going to get confusing, since I set it sometimes after that. The problem is, the show is wonky about time lines.

Firstly, Equestria seems to be spring/summer like, 99% of the time, which doesn't help. And we've no clear idea when a full year has passed, I mean, the show seems to be implying that the episode Princess Twilight Sparkle is the first Summer Sun Celebration since Luna's return. Erm, that would mean seasons 1-3 all happen in one year. Which would not work unless Equestria has wonky seasons since we have a winter and autumn episode(Winter Wrap up and Fall Weather Friends, in that order) in season one, then another winter and autumnish episode in season two(Luna Eclipsed and Hearth's Warming Eve). Which could not realistically happen in that order, unless we jumped through an entire year or two. Or they just bounced around the timeline
Plus, that would be on really busy year. Plus we don't get another winter episode till season 5 with Tanks for the Memories. And season 3 is really short in comparison to the others.

Plus there was something I wanted to write(Hearts and Hooves Day), and only double checking after the fact did I realize it had happened pre Canterlot Wedding. Oops.

So yeah, tl;dr, I'm playing a bit fast and loose with the timeline for this story, but so does the show. It takes place post Canterlot Wedding and is, roughly early-Mid spring at the moment.
