    Story update and other stuff

Believe it or not I've actually started a new job at long last. I'd only planned on staying with my last employer six months, but ended up being stuck there for nearly five years. During my time there I had to put up with some of the worst bigotry I've ever encountered, despite the company claiming to be 'inclusive, supportive of diversity, etc'. Spoiler alert : They weren't!

    Bon Bon's story.

Seems to be coming along well. 365 pages at 192,769 words.

    We'll get there.

    Story Update

Now on page 280 of Bon Bon's story. Looking good so far, but quite a technical challenge as she's been involved in other parts of the Fairlight story arc and I need to be careful tying it all together. I'm also aware that I will need to incorporate Lyra's story into it too.

    Continuing on

Despite one of the readers claiming that they had felt like vomiting after reading my last story, I have pressed on with my scribblings. Apparently eliciting a physical and -or- an emotional response from a story is considered a good thing. Or so I'm told.

Chapter Nineteen completed · 9:32pm May 28th, 2015

I've finally finished editing chapter nineteen, 'That which lives beneath the hill'. Its one of my favourite chapters so far and there's a little homage in there to one of my favourite films which some astute readers may spot.

I'm really pleased too that some readers have given a 'thumbs up' to my stories, as its a hell of a lot of work and i don't get anything out of it other than the enjoyment of the creative process. It is a shame though, that I get hit with a barrage of 'thumbs down, no comment' trolling seemingly within minutes of a new story going up. It does put you off somewhat, but so long as someone is enjoying the story (And not just me!) its still worth it. Call me old fashioned, but if i don't like something, i don't hit that 'thumbs down' button, I just stop reading it.

In any case, Book Four is finished, but i'm finding it harder and harder to find time to edit the stories, so it may take a while to upload it. Thats said, i'm wondering about putting Fairlight on hiatus and doing a short spin off story before i write any more about his adventures. This one would be about Celestia, one of my favourite characters. I feel she's portrayed a little negatively in Fairlights story, but as with many things in life, its a matter of perspective.

If anybody actually reads this, feel free to leave a comment. The tumbleweeds are really starting to pile up in here :ajsmug:
