    Story update and other stuff

Believe it or not I've actually started a new job at long last. I'd only planned on staying with my last employer six months, but ended up being stuck there for nearly five years. During my time there I had to put up with some of the worst bigotry I've ever encountered, despite the company claiming to be 'inclusive, supportive of diversity, etc'. Spoiler alert : They weren't!

    Story Update

Now on page 280 of Bon Bon's story. Looking good so far, but quite a technical challenge as she's been involved in other parts of the Fairlight story arc and I need to be careful tying it all together. I'm also aware that I will need to incorporate Lyra's story into it too.

    Continuing on

Despite one of the readers claiming that they had felt like vomiting after reading my last story, I have pressed on with my scribblings. Apparently eliciting a physical and -or- an emotional response from a story is considered a good thing. Or so I'm told.

Despite one of the readers claiming that they had felt like vomiting after reading my last story, I have pressed on with my scribblings. Apparently eliciting a physical and -or- an emotional response from a story is considered a good thing. Or so I'm told.

Right now I'm writing the second half of the story featuring Bon Bon and Lyra. I've decided to write them as one combined story as opposed to two. The reason for this is that the stories converge further down the line, showing two sides of the same story; one from Lyra's aspect (As seen in Island of the forgotten) and the other from Bon Bon's. Bonnie's arc links in with the previous Fairlight books but is very much focussed on her personal journey through life, whereas Lyra's is more 'one-shot' adventure based.

Some of you may recall that my depiction of Bon Bon pre-dates her television appearance as a secret service agent in Ep100. Did they read my story first? Who knows, but I'd like to think they did. In any case, my vision of Bonnie in the story also pre-dates her later series relationship with Lyra. In my eyes I saw Bonnie and Lyra as very good friends who went through thick and thin together, weathering all the storms life throws at them. This meant a lot to me personally as I had a friend like that whom people constantly thought was my partner simply because we were so close. Alas my friend has gone now, but I still hold the memories of those days very close to my heart. In regards to the Bon Bon and Lyra dynamic, and whatever you may feel about their personal relationship in the series, I will remain true to my vision. 'Headcanon' and all that.

Currently on 90 pages with the Bon Bon story.

Toodles.
