... but right now I literally can't afford to focus on fanfiction. I'm kind of distracted by trying to keep a roof over my head, come a few more months down the road. It's been a mistake to not say this sooner, because it was a looming issue as early as early Autumn last year and I kept telling y'all I was writing anyway, then spending too much time and energy trying to force words out of my fingertips instead of getting my everything sorted. Too much escapism (which I have strong reasons for needing a lot of) can be a problem like that.
I'm probably not going to end up homeless and I already have some backup plans and wonderful people in case I can't sort my everything, but having a place to live and preparations for being financially able to stay there are more important than fanfiction. I'm quitting writing (probably, hard to say when I'll suddenly have inspirational flashes) until I have those, and that's going to take months.
I will still be around, though, and I might have some tidbits for y'all relatively soon, but only in the form of short, unfinished stuff - the stuff I actually plan to not finish, and wasn't planning to publish at all.

Yeah, financial troubles can be tough. I understand why you're focusing more on supporting yourself as opposed to writing. Anyway, I truly wish you all the best, and I hope things work out well for you. I'm also glad that you have a circle of friends who are there to support you if needed. It always feels nice to know you have friends who look out for you.
Also, thanks for sharing the cute pictures. I like them a lot.

I don't think smuggling you across the border to stay at my tiny apartment is going to be much of an option. But hopefully my family will be back on their feet a bit more by then, and Lumie can wire some cash to help get you settled with friends or lovey-dovey Proper-worshipping folks. Relocating one's life is rarely cheap.
